Any amount of time you can divert them and keep them at YOUR door you are wasting their time and saving lives! We should all DO MORE in this lifesaving work!

by Flat_Accent inso there i was enjoying saturday kitchen, when i hear a rattle on the door.
i open it and who should i see but the same jw from last time, and she brought a friend with her.. in her hand was the memorial invitation, and she asked if i would come.
my words obviously didn't travel far, because she asked me again 2 minutes later.

i asked this question once and the answer was it ment the ones who dont stay with the witnesses,.

Who has had this year's invitation personally delivered by elders?
by biometrics inhad two elders personally visit me today to deliver the rejection of christ memorial invitation.
they were hanging around the front gate for a while because our dog (labrador) woudn't let them in.. my wife let them in the yard / house.
when they asked if i'd be going i smiled and said "thank you for the invitation", then quickly changed the subject.

So a Witness finally came to my door. It could have went better
by sabastious inhis name was herbert, that's all i knew about him and that he was one of jehovah's witnesses.
the knock came at 6 in the morning and i was wearing very little.
i looked out the peek hole in my door to see a single middle aged man sporting a big stupid grin standing outside my front door.

In THERE eyes it most certainly does. It counts as an accepted invitation just as their time counted to put on their timeslips.

Animosity Toward Inactive Ones

aren't they supposed to want to help them and encourage them?.
i know of a young woman,i've known forever,who married a non-witness,and hasn't been to the meetings for awhile.

by still thinking ini have a friend, she has been my friend for over 20 years...in that 20 years i have seen her reasonably regularly.
i visit her, she visits me.. the thing that has started bugging me is this...... when i visit her it is normally in the daytime.
i stop in for a cuppa and a chat.

I have a cousin with TWO Phd's, is a psychiatrist, and a publisjed author. The man is an EDUCATED IDIOT. Well at least he's not a jw too! But yea, having an education does not by any means indicate how smart a person is. It just means they can fill their head with knowledge not that they can apply any of it.
