When i was a JDub i used to sneak onto JWFacts and this site and get annoyed at the "lies"... something must have stuck though because i kept coming back and now im an all out apostate.

For me it was JWs themselves. I got sick and tired of having to report myself to the elders, watching my back, hiding mundane things from my family and friends that were no big deal. I could see a lot of hypocrisy and i wanted no part of it.
Then it was JWFacts and this website.
Crises of Conscience just sealed the deal. There was no going back after that.

I used to work in Immigration and the stories i could tell...
It was very common for illegals to destroy documents upon arrival at the airport and claim asylum under another nationality. The sob stories would all be exactly the same. I mean, word for word. People would bring their kids with them, then after they were granted citizenship years later would turn up and say that they're NOT their kids but actually their sisters kids, so thanks to Human Rights the Home Office would HAVE TO let the real mother of the kids come to the UK and grant her an indefinite visa. That type of thing was common.
And i wont even start on the criminal records of some (not all) but some that were wanted for crimes in their home counties but claimed asylum here. And we granted them! Because, you know, "...in Iran they'd kill him for raping a girl. We cant send him back there to such a dangerous regime."

"Privileges"
by minimus inwithin the organization, jehovah's witnesses know that they must be dutiful and set an example for "worldly ones" as well as for their own brotherhood.
if a witness fails in setting the proper example, they may lose some 'privileges"..... what privileges did you look to have and what privileges did you lose?

At one time in my last KH i had the "privilege" of working the sound desk, platform mics, roving mics and counting those in attendance ALL AT THE SAME TIME for every meeting. This lasted for months. The other brothers were either unworthy due to some sort of "sins" committed or they were elders or MS so wouldn't dream of doing such a lowly job.
Also.... what "privilege" it was to be assigned to the door to door ministry. Surely this is an "honor" to proclaim Jehovahs name.
Privilege of cleaning toilets.
Privilege of picking up some brats sweet wrappers from the back row.
Privilege of typing up the list of talks and those assigned to them.
Privilege of doing car-park duty to make sure they dont get broken into.
Basically, any job nobody wants to do becomes a "privilege" to make you think you're special.

Is the GB setting up to dump 1914?
by karter inwith the "generation change" and them changing it all the time it would make sence to dump it all togeather.. lets face it ,it can be disproved easly.. they dumped 1975 in a heart beat .. this would buy them all the time they wanted as they would just find another date to start the generation from ie: "the u.n year of peace and sercurty'',1986 i belive or whatever else they could think of.. they could sell it to the r&f as easly as they sold 1975,then dumped it when it did'nt happen .. anyone questioning them would be told they are running ahead of jehovah or lacking faith in his earthly org that feeds us food at the proper time .. what do you think?.

I never knew about Jesus choosing the WT in 1919 until I left and joined this site. I guarantee that 99% of my old congregation wouldn't know all of the significance of 1914. If they did drop it they'd still go along with the GB. None of my old JW acquaintances or family connect 1914 with the GB having authority. As far as they're concerned Jesus communicates through Stephen Lett, Tony Morris, Jeffrey Jackson and co and that's all there is to it. -

please let me know where i can find the pdf's for the following:(now, i know that there are multiple versions of these and that there are some that seem the same but they are not.

Gaslighting is a form of persistent manipulation and brainwashing that causes the victim to doubt her or himself, and ultimately lose her or his own sense of perception, identity, and self-worth. The term is derived from the 1944 film Gaslight, in which a husband tries to convince his wife that she’s insane by causing her to question herself and her reality.
In its milder forms, gaslighting creates a subtle, but inequitable, power dynamic in a relationship, with the gaslightee subjected to the gaslighter’s unreasonable, rather than fact-based, scrutiny, judgment, or micro-aggression. At its worst, pathological gaslighting constitutes a severe form of mind-control and psychological abuse. Gaslighting can occur in personal relationships, at the workplace, or over an entire society.
Multiple studies and writings have focused on the phenomenon of gaslighting and its destructive impact.[1][2][3][4][5][6] Here are seven stages through which a pathological gaslighter dominates a victim (excerpted from my book, How to Successfully Handle Gaslighters & Stop Psychological Bullying). Depending on the situation, there may be variations in the order and the number of gaslighting stages involved:
1. Lie and Exaggerate. The gaslighter creates a negative narrative about the gaslightee (“There’s something wrong and inadequate about you”), thereby putting the gaslightee on the defensive.

“The work your department does is a waste of time and resources. How do you even justify your employment?” ―Anonymous manager

2. Repetition. Like psychological warfare, the falsehoods are repeated constantly in order to stay on the offensive, control the conversation, and dominate the relationship.
3. Escalate When Challenged. When called on their lies, the gaslighter escalates the dispute by doubling and tripling down on their attacks, refuting substantive evidence with denial, blame, and more false claims (misdirection), sowing doubt and confusion.

4. Wear Out the Victim. By staying on the offensive, the gaslighter eventually wears down their victim, who becomes discouraged, resigned, pessimistic, fearful, debilitated, and self-doubting. The victim begins to question her or his own perception, identity, and reality.
5. Form Codependent Relationships. The Oxford Dictionary defines codependency as "excessive emotional or psychological reliance on a partner.” In a gaslighting relationship, the gaslighter elicits constant insecurity and anxiety in the gaslightee, thereby pulling the gaslightee by the strings. The gaslighter has the power to grant acceptance, approval, respect, safety, and security. The gaslighter also has the power (and often threatens to) take them away. A codependent relationship is formed based on fear, vulnerability, and marginalization.
6. Give False Hope. As a manipulative tactic, the gaslighter will occasionally treat the victim with mildness, moderation, and even superficial kindness or remorse, to give the gaslightee false hope. In these circumstances, the victim might think: “Maybe he’s really not THAT bad,” “Maybe things are going to get better,” or “Let’s give it a chance.”
But beware! The temporary mildness is often a calculated maneuver intended to instill complacency and have the victim’s guard down before the next act of gaslighting begins. With this tactic, the gaslighter also further reinforces a codependent relationship.
7. Dominate and Control. At its extreme, the ultimate objective of a pathological gaslighter is to control, dominate, and take advantage of another individual, or a group, or even an entire society. By maintaining and intensifying an incessant stream of lies and coercions, the gaslighter keeps the gaslightees in a constant state of insecurity, doubt, and fear. The gaslighter can then exploit their victims at will, for the augmentation of their power and personal gain.

there are the photos of geoffrey with his 17k apple watch, etc.
unless they are paying for cash, many of these things would have a paper trail on credit card statements, etc.
