End of discussion - Regardless of cost.
i understand people love their family but i also don't understand why you end up caring in the end.
i'm ready to leave and i 100% don't expecting my family to have any contact with me nor do i want them to contact me.
if they are going to chose a man made religion over me, that's their choice and i will sleep easy at night.

my wife is still nominally in, but only because it "makes me (her) happy".
there is nothing academic about her beliefs and when i try, she interprets me as negative.. but then she cusses like a sailor and watches certain movies with me.
her birthday is coming up and it's also right around valentine's day.
A happy wife is a happy life. Do it.
i've been thinking about this for a while.. did jesus diee on a cross?
does it really matter?
it doesn't change anything that i can see.. is god a trinity?
Doing the will of God implies actions.
Yes it does. The question is: what that action entails. That's a legitimate question.
Jesus was once asked what we must do, to do the will of God. The answer? Believe Jesus.
....this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. - John 6
This is the beginning and the end of the "works" of God. This is the bottom line of Christianity.
For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:
Not of works, lest any man should boast. - Ephesians 2:8-9
Christians have but one work; belief. Of course this is offensive to our cultured advanced minds. Nevertheless, everyone gets to chose their own eternal destiny, free of any burdens of performance whatsoever.
The question then becomes what constitutes belief? It is a very personal thing. And God knows what we believe.
i've been thinking about this for a while.. did jesus diee on a cross?
does it really matter?
it doesn't change anything that i can see.. is god a trinity?
The What is ONE, the Who is Three. Once you understand this, things start to make a little more sense.
For instance, it might not be accurate to say that Jehovah bled on Calvary Hill while he hung on a tree. But it would be accurate to say that God bled on Calvary Hill while he hung on a tree.
The New World Translation changes a scripture in Acts 20:28 to obscure this.
feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. - KJV
shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood - NASB
Be shepherds of the church of God, which he bought with his own blood - NIV
shepherd the congregation of God, which he purchased with the blood of his own [Son] - NWT
i've been thinking about this for a while.. did jesus diee on a cross?
does it really matter?
it doesn't change anything that i can see.. is god a trinity?
Is god a trinity? Again, who cares? ...It seems to me people make mountains out of molehills
I agree to some extent. Even the new agers seem to agree that we are a trinity: body, soul & spirit. It seems to me that, "Why not God" could just as easily be asked in place of "Why God" when dealing with the trinity issue.
at least, that is how i see it... the article "the judge of all the earth always does what is right".
paragraph 6 & 7 .
6 consider the experience of willi diehl.
I'm not sure there is any real change here. The message still seems the same:
Even if you see us doing something unscriptural, (even if you are sidelined) stick with us until we get around to changing it.
This was the same message I received 20 years ago when I started questioning. Doctrine: "The standard is not the Bible, we are."
Same 'ole idolatry.
anybody have any ideas where they are going with the "new light" they have been pushing last week and this week?
for instance in this weeks study article one section reads:.
in years gone by, we believed that jehovah became displeased with his people because they did not have a zealous share in the preaching work during world war i. we concluded that for this reason, jehovah allowed babylon the great to take them captive for a short time.
Sounds to me like they are laying the groundwork for some future yet-to-be-announced doctrinal change.
after 5 months of struggling, yesterday i was paid to perform.
for those who saw the last video i hope you see an improvement.. would love feedback as always.
the first 2 minutes is on my life as a former jw.. cheers.
God bless you
jehovah's witnesses cannot do a lot of things.
i remember pioneers having to quit their jobs because they could not work in a convenience store and sell cigarettes.
i know of a young man who was offered a scholarship to any college or university if he wanted to go to because of his football abilities.
Play sports in school.
is there a biblical basis for separation or divorce?.
in the event that one of the spouses is being psychologically mistreated in a very serious manner where his health is severely damaged and even his own life is in danger.
is there a biblical basis for jehovah's witnesses for separation or divorce?.
You are correct Blondie.
If a spouse starts getting a little too excited about Jesus, especially to the point where one might actually consider a direct relationship without a church organization, that is considered to be a threat to Watchtower spirituality and therefore grounds for separation, divorce, but not remarriage.
