The senseless ''non partakers'' Jesus Memorial

matthew 26: 18-20 .

18 he said: “go into the city to so-and-so and say to him, ‘the teacher says: “my appointed time is near; i will celebrate the passover with my disciples at your home.19 so the disciples did as jesus instructed them and prepared for the passover.20 when evening came, he was reclining at the table with the 12 disciples.. only jesus and his 12 disciples were present at the passover .if jesus wanted observers, he would of had some sit down at his last meal and requested that they be present that day and future passovers.

why does the wts feel that observers ( non partakers ) need to attend the yearly memorial?

R&F JW's cannot partake of the emblems because they are not participants of the New Covenant, as shown by the type/antetype which says foreigners were not participants of the Law Covenant.

wt 98 2/1 p.19, par. 6 - "Further, other sheep lay hold of the new covenant just as foreigners of old laid hold of the Law covenant. In what way? Not by becoming participants in it but by submitting to the laws associated with it and benefiting from its arrangements."

Deuteronomy 29:10-15 destroys this JW dogma & its implications.

10 “All of you are stationed today before Jehovah your God, the heads of your tribes, your elders, your officers, every man of Israel,

11 your children, your wives, and your foreign resident who is in the midst of your camp, from the one gathering your wood to the one drawing your water.

Jw's sending me invites and letters, I don't get it.

first off, i have made it real clear with jw's my thoughts on being a jw.

i'm out, there is no coming back.. second, i'm on their " do not call list" .. so why now all of a sudden my mailbox is getting bombed 💣 by their memorial invites and letters?.

don't they follow their do not call list?

As a longtime "fader" I have simply ignored the hand-written letters which encourage me to "return to Jehovah/congregation."

No doubt the personal calls will resume when the "Black Plague" subsides enough for the ministry to restart.

Unless of it course it should read like this:

(Mark 3:28, 29) Truly I say to you that all things will be forgiven JW's, no matter WHAT sins they commit and what blasphemies they speak. But whoever blasphemes against the Governing Body/Org has NO forgiveness forever but is guilty of everlasting sin.”

Memorial invite

now they start inviting to their "commemorate the death of jesus" event.

it always makes me a bit sad.

i don’t think i could endure to watch it myself today.

The JW two-tier Christianity is predicated on the fake type/antetype dogma that the 'other sheep' picture the foreigners who left Egypt with the Israelites and weren't participants of the old covenant - only 'beneficiaries.' Try telling that to Rahab & Ruth!

Watchtower November 15, 2014, p. 30 - Revelation 11:7 says that it is "the wild beast that ascends out of the abyss" which kills the 'two witnesses'.

The wild beast that ascends out of the abyss is claimed to be the United Nations.

How could a non-existent U.N. (not created until 1945) - fulfill a prophecy in 1918 - 27 years BEFORE it ever existed? Many will still swallow this without a thought. Sigh!

growing up around the faith, whenever i heard something taught, i'd always think there is a different way of looking at that, probably better.. we always hear "this good news of the kingdom will be preached... " matt 24:14.. so i think, is there more to it than preaching the kingdom?.

luke 17:21 the kjv and asv says "neither shall they say, lo here!

or, lo there!

@ Disillusioned JW: The Service Committee at JW Branches will automatically bin any anonymous letters which highlight "flaws" in a JW dogma.

On the other hand, (as in my case) if you give your details you will probably eventually receive a literature-based reply - coupled with a letter to your COBE to alert him that you probably merit "encouragement with your weakness." In other words, keep you monitored as a potential troublemaker/apostate.

From Strong's & Vine's:

Βασιλεία (basileia) Royal power, kingship, dominion, rule, not to be confused with an actual kingdom, but rather, the right or authority to rule over a kingdom, of the royal power of Jesus as the triumphant Messiah, used in the N.T. to refer to the reign of the Messiah.

In Rev 1:6; 5:10, the most authentic mss. have the word basileia, "kingdom," instead of the plural of basileus, AV, "kings," RV, "a kingdom (to be priests)," and "a kingdom” (and priests).
Compare the latter reference with the NWT interpretation of Revelation 5:10. (kings!)

is going to be amongst a crowd of 144,001 melchizedek king/priests in heaven.. 1) a ransom only buys back what has been lost, so what exactly did adam lose?.

2) how can jesus' ransom correspond with what adam lost, if it buys back far more than what was lost?.

@ Vienne - Your statement that JW's don't specifically teach that the 144,000 are part of the ransom doesn't alter WHAT they believe nor their BASIS for that belief, namely, that Jesus' death & sacrifice ALONE enabled a "heavenly class" of humans.

If not, JW's would have to explain why Abraham, Moses, Elijah etc.aren't in heaven.

(Luke 22:20) Also, he did the same with the cup after they had the evening meal, saying: “This cup means the new covenant by virtue of my blood, which is to be poured out in your behalf.

(John 6:53) So Jesus said to them: “Most truly I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of man and drink his blood, you have no life in yourselves."

Don't forget, it's only the "upper class" HEAVENLY Christians who are invited into this covenant, while the "lower class" EARTHLY Christians will "benefit" from the crumbs falling from the heavenly table.

To reinforce the OP title - scripture PROVES scripture:

(Psalm 45:16) You will appoint them as princes (not kings) in all the earth. (not heaven)

(Revelation 5:10 – K.I.T.) ...and you made them to the God of us kingdom and priests, and they are reigning upon the earth.” (no mention of them being kings, and they're upon the earth – not over it!)

The "heavenly class" is a falsehood and perverts the value of the corresponding ransom.

The apostle Paul said that Jesus “…gave himself a corresponding ransom for all. (1 Timothy 2:6)
