Current policy regarding child molesters

i brought up the conti case with a newly x- jw and they said that the child molestion policy was changed in 90's as far as elders reporting to the authorities.

so my question is what was the policy changed from and what did it change to?

and what is the most current letter that we have a copy of regarding the reporting policy?

wel the reson to jw shunning politiks, is what you can't have any contack to a broder who comments "sin" well, then what about this then ?

1 john 4:20 if anyone says, i love god, and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love his brother whom he has seen cannot love god whom he has not seen.. 1 john 2:9 whoever says he is in the light and hates his brother is still in darkness.. .

and the wathtower magazine, say you have to hate your "former" broder, in a bibel understanding ;).

Paliemar: 1 cor.5:11---- The things mentioned in that verse are things I KNOW and SEE J-dubs doing who are in good standing. So, I guess apostates are admonished to stay away from such sinners not even eating with them, so we won't be mislead.

It shows disrespect for the mate and is harming the child by putting negative ideas in their head, which can be traumatic.

Tell her to look up 1 Peter 3:1-2 and read it. And see if she really is a true Christian by applying it. (1) "In like manner, you wives, be in subjection to your own husbands, in order that, if any are not obedient to the word, they may be won without a word through the conduct of their wives,(2) because of having been eyewitnesses of your chaste conduct together with deep respect.
