See, now I thought you had been here forever!!!
Congrat's Badger - I'm so glad that you are feeling so comfortable and happy here - I remember those feelings myself oh so long ago.
P.S. What Indian Tribe are you from?
he was a simple, somewhat bright, but really geeky indian boy...struggled with his faith and personal problems.... .
but he found a group of great friends with shoulders to cry on and to celebrate all that was good in his life, which he a built in spite of others who claimed to be family and friends.
you are the reason for 100 deluded, inane posts by me...the badger!.

ok folks, if you live in the province of ontario, it should come as no surprise to you: we have a provincial election going on, and a very important one too.
thursday, october 2, 2003 is our provincial election.
here's some information that may be useful: .
Glad everything worked out for ya Walter, and that you are now able to take a much needed break <hands walter beer>
I''ll be rooting for your re-employment, but how they couldnt keep a wonderful man around such as yourself I'll never know!
i just wanted to introduce myself and share my verbose story.
my name is kyria, i'm 29 years old, originally from the pawtucket/lincoln rhode island congregation in the states.
i found this board yesterday, and am completely blown away by what an amazing place it is.
I have met so many good and amazing people and learned so much about what true spirituality means. I've even come to a point where I find religion to be interesting again, although I don't think I could ever bring myself to join any kind of organization
Ditto - it was the "worldy"' people that saved my life after I left. Showing more christian love in 1 finger than many of the JWs entire bodies that I had known.
Also, our therapy experiences were very similar....driving towards suicide when what we wanted to do was LIVE, and live happily.
Im so happy you''ve found our little niche, and look forward to hearing more of your posts!
...the fact that my daughters haven't spoken to me in a year and a half (non-dub related).. i have "sponsored" two young women from columbia and the honduras.
i am thrilled.
i will post the photos as soon as i figure out how.
What a wonderful contribution to society Beryl!!!!
Hat's off to ya!
are you of the mind that all men and all women are basically the same?
you know---all men just have one thing on their mind or all women are just users?
there's so much stereotyping when it comes to males and females...typical man, typical woman.
Ballistic - in case you haven't heard - most women now a days LOVE mechanical devices.....bzzzzzzzzzzzzz (oops - thought this was the dildo thread - sorry all)
this letter campaign is designed to convey public outrage at the watch tower society's treatment of vicki boer.
it has been designed so that, depending on how many copies you send, you should be able to complete it in 15-30 minutes.
thanks to scully, there is now no need to go the email route, all the materials you need are now on the web.. the home page for the letter campaign is here: http://hometown.aol.ca/scullyxjw/vb-letters.html.
Well, I got the letter and sent it out under my name, hubby's name and 2 of my girlfriends that were fine with it - that's 4 from this arena.
i do not wish to hijack minimus's thread on the opposite sex -- but i think women are so wonderful that i think some should be elevated to the status of godesses -especially here on this board -- now i am not against a bit of "false" worship -- so my two nominations are vivamus (wrapped in blue bubblegum) and xena -- possibly stinkypantz -- wot says youz guys?
remember -- we can not elevate all to godess status as that would diminish the status -- otherwise every woman on this board could have the role
Badger's babies or little toes ladies:? hmm......

I'm with you maybesbabies - that Brummie better get his leashes out quick before he looses his biatches.
lol @ littletoe
has anyone reunited with someone they used to be friends with when they were jw?
what did it feel like?
were you glad you did it?
GO FOR IT!!!! Go through classmates.com or any other avenue.
I myself found one of my closest friends from the JW days, and it had been over 16 years since i had been df/d! I was so close to her family, that it was as if I was just another daughter. Then I was df'd. She was no longer a JW at that point, and we became fast friends again, just as strong of bonds as ever. (love ya Bec!) Through her, I was also able to rebond w/one of her sisters, so in a weird way, we''re re-establishing a family.

Well, at least you''ll have 2, possibly 3 chicks that like you still - but i'd watch your back from the rest of us
