OK folks, if you live in the province of Ontario, it should come as no surprise to you: we have a provincial election going on, and a VERY IMPORTANT one too.

Thursday, October 2, 2003 is our provincial election.

Here's some information that may be useful:

    http://www.electionsontario.on.ca/en/home_en.shtml

In there, you will find ways to register if you haven't already, and for those who are wishy-washy about the democratic right to vote: please do so.

Ontario, Canada's 2cnd largest province (412,581 sq. miles), and Canada's most populous province (12-13 million) which is the industrial and economical engine is having a very important election, less than 48 hours away.

If there's ever time for a change: oh man, do we ever need it now.

But, of course, to each his/her own.

Just an FYI post, with some pleading going on from within.

    Thanks!

Make your voice heard; don't let others speak for you.

You're right, we DO need a change in Ontario, one that's long overdue.

I hope every eligible Ontarian does the responsible thing and casts their ballot on October 2.

Let's kick Ernie's ass out of office!!!

I'll be voting Green, and I'll tell you why. Because I am quite certain that they have no chance of winning (they are too new to have the necessary political experience to run the province, although I wouldn't mind having a Green MPP); and to send a message to whichever party wins, that environmental awareness *MUST* become a greater factor in future political decisions.

It's looking like the Pointy-Headed Kitten Eater will likely win; Eves is showing signs of strain after the campaign, whereas McGuinty is confident and fresh. It's hard to say what will happen if/when the Liberals win; I guess we're in for a ride. :)

It must be fun to live in Ontario and not hear about Sovereignty all the time.

I guess I am in the minority and am voting Blue. I like the Liberals for some of their social stances but the Tories are fiscally the most responsible with a focus on job development/creation and bringing business to the Province.

It will be an interesting and very close election imo.

I'm betting the Tories don't get more than 10 seats.
