Isn't masterbation considered immoral still? If so, wouldn't this make the whole phone sex poing moot?
Me thinks some Bethel brothers just wanted to do some research for this article - sort of like using the NGO card for the library
the feb. 22, 2004 awake has this article.
here's some comments that i thought you'd appreciate.
"telephone sex, however, promotes coldness and anonymity...... telephone sex is one of the means that satan the devil is using to corrupt young ones today.....if you are currently engaging in telephone sex, why not get some help?

yesterday i had a little spat with my wife.
it's all cleared up today.
she's a wonderful gal and we love each other very much.. but one thing kinda bugs me.
Dear Lord - I can't believe that I'm actually going to agree w/Maverick Who'dda thunk it?
Maverick, as for a "generality" I believe you make a good point. Men & women do have a total different set of rules when it comes to love & war - and how they engage in both accordingly. I also agree that your best judge of someone's character is how they behave when you are having a disagreement with them.
Men are generally problem "solvers" - "tell me what the beef is & let's solve it". Women tend to get into the emotional psychological issues which cause any given argument - and dwell on the "feelings" until their own emotional needs are met. Women also have more of a tendancy to want to play the "blame game" instead of working towards resolution. Men just want it fixed. GENERALLY.
Men & women are just different - and I believe society is taking this whole "feminism" thing way too far - our girls have been brought up to believe for a couple of generations now that there should be absolutely no difference between men & women. Obviously for a just cause - equal "rights" for women. The problem is that most women have bought into it - and they no longer know how a man truly thinks & feels, because they assume the men are just like themselves.
I think women that have the happiest marriages are the ones that understand the differences, and love their partner more for them.
because i haven't been here too long, i was wondering what this forum was like a couple of years ago.
the reason i'm asking is that i've been noticing alot of new ones joining.
has that always been the case or does it seem like they are increasing more rapidly now?
Excellent points Valis (but I won't say which ones)

Blondies remarks are dead on.
I'm one who will apologize to my hubby for every small infraction under the sun, whether it requires one or not (i.e. too much dill in the soup, laundry piled on the couch etc.). Where I NEVER apologize is for the "important" issues, ones that actually require disagreement. That's because I tend to be a "reactionary" person. Therefore I can find "justification" for any comments/actions I may make. I don't wish to show "weakness" in a disagreement because in some way that will only give him ammo - so he HAS to apologize first.
Even though I may not "apologize" verbally, I do try to show through action that I did feel bad by trying to change the behavior/comment that required an apology (i.e. the next argument I don't call him a "limp **** bastard & throw his $3000.00 stereo system out the window) (that was a joke - it was only a $2000.00 system)
Besides, I'm sick of being apologized too - and that's where men are different as well. Of the few issues my hubby & I have regarding "his" behaviors that bother me - in 9 years I've had probably 10,000 apologies, but no change in the behavior - go figure.
i'm curious were any of you ever labeled troublemakers?
lol i never was....i was the shy retiring type, pretty much kept to myself.
a loner.
Headache????!!!!!

I was an extremely introverted shy girl who wouldn't do ANYTHING for fear of doing something bad!
Look how far I've come (and I haven't even met Valis yet)
ok so now we have ex-jw sites like this one.
i wonder (i have not searched the internet for it), are there ex-other religion associations?.
ex-catholics (lol) ?
lol xjw-b12
Yes - there are many ex-morman boards, and I believe you will find "support group" boards for alot of the more "fundy" religions. In religious groups that border on, and in some cases cross over to cult status, leaving can be extremely difficult.'
Look up "Cult Recovery" - see how many hits you get off that one - that should tell you all you need to know
after learning the truth about the truth, whats the very first thing you wanted to do?
Have fantastic sex without feeling guilty Course that was easier said than done.
.
i got this from a web board that i am part of for asperger's kids, please, if you can, sign this petition.. please go to this and sign...disneyland has got rid of the pass for speacial needs kids.
.
Wow - Thanks Neverthere!!! I didn't realize Disney had changed their policy!
This I believe is against the law - Federal Regulations require they make accommodations for all special needs - not just those with "visible" impairments.
I smell a class action suit if they don't change their mind willingly! Of course, get enough Autism families standing in long lines while they are physically restraining their children during "melt downs" - can't imagine what other patrons will think of that, or how uncomfortable EVERYONE will be.
What list are you on for Aspergers btw? pm me if you wish.
Thanks again!

(mom to Nicholas - 7 y.o. w/severe autism).
as some of you know, when cj and i were married, i adopted her daughter, and raised her as my own.
i love her so much, i never referred to her as step-daughter, and never will.
she calls me dad, even though her biological father, somehow found his way out out of the woodwork, when she turned 18.
I believe you DO have to take the younger children into consideration. What happens if at 18, your daughter starts bringing all her "boyfriends" home to spend the night should she still be with you? What grounds would you have at that point to say no?
If the 24 y.o. is NOT living with her boyfriend, then separate rooms.
