LOL - this is wonderful stuff.
When I was fighting the unequal battle with a certain prominent member (that's a round about, English way of talking about TRYING TO CUT DOWN ON WANKING) as a dub, I used to think of doing what the ancient greek bloke did, cut it off.
Ye Gods in heaven! How spiritually unhealthy was I?

i wanted to start with a bang, so i have a question.. my girlfriend told me today that she doesn't mind me having sex with other women.
i said,"i don't want an 'open relationship'" and she replied, "i know, i can't sleep with other men, but if you do that's ok".
is this girl a lettuce leaf short of a picnic.
Your girl seems HOT baby, HOTTTT.
This apparently unequal relationship is probably as old love itself, but people just don't talk about it because it is so challenging to accepted mores.
Also, I think she either has loads of self-esteem and trust in you, or else she has none, and wants to hang on to you by offering this too-good-to-be-true arrangement.
Best of luck fella.

since all baptised jehovah's witnesses are required to give loyal obedience to the watch tower society or f&ds, it's necessary to accept all the teachings of the organisation.. next time you're challenged by an elder as to whether you accept all the teachings of the organisation, you might like to refer him to page 262 of the daniel book.. there the "ships of kittim" are 'identified' as the ships of britain lying off the western coast of europe in ww1.
kittim is believed to be the ancient name of cyprus.
in the first world war cyprus was annexed by britain.

i've been studying the bible with a jehovah's witness in my town, and i'm rather enjoying it.. but why do so many people hate the jw's.. i've researched on my own and have come to the conclusion that they are right on most accounts including the trinity, blood, nationalism... etc.... and the more arguments i hear against the more i'm drawn into believing what they stand for.. and every argument i've seen in support of the things jw's are against the more i think the jw's are right.. so why are they so bad?
DF
I suggest you take one issue, read about it, and then start typing up your thoughts. All you have done here is throw in a couple of topics without addressing them, which in fact mirrors the door-door approach of JWs.

last year on h20, there was an interesting thread going that had been posted by a pro-witness.
unbelievably, the subject matter concerned whose house they were going to live in after armageddon.
this was the number 1 choice:.
Neko,
Nice. But isn't sex in the new order solely about having children? the wham, bang, pop cycle.

My own high ...err, strike that, my intense condition of inner humility, that I learned in the organisation, makes me choose The Vatican to live in. If I chose anything less I would be manifesting humble pride, and would be setting a bad example.
Anybody been to the vatican? Tell me it wasn't an awesome religious experience for you, of course it deosn't compare to a football stadium full of dubs!

i know there are not many jw's who post on this server, but if you are lurking, feel free to answer.
these questions are compliments * http://users.aol.com/beyondjw/dilemmas.htm.
lmao.
Question,
2A) At Armageddon, will ALL non-Witnesses die? (If not, who lives?)
YK's answer,
Everyone who calls on the name of Jehovah in faith will receive his salvation. You figure out where all non-Witnesses stand in relation to that revealed truth.
You Know has answered this question correctly, that is, in the way a JW normally answers. He avoids the uncomfortable fact that baptism 'in association with God's spirit directed organisation' is taught by the WTBTS as crucial to salvation. Neither does he explain what he means by "calling on the name of Jehovah in faith" means. He could just as well have said, you go figure it out yourself - I'm alright.

jesus further related in the 15th chapter of john: "nevertheless, i have spoken these things to you that, when the hour for them arrives, you may remember i told them to you.
these things, however, i did not tell you at first, because i was with you.
so, the point is that jesus has not told his anointed ones certain things yet because the hour for them has not arrived.
:the now developing apostate community
What? So we're a community after all, not the 'Satanic cohort of back-biters'. Well, then, aren't we indeed 'developing'. Do you see JWs as a 'developing community' also? Settling down into the religious and corporate mainstream, loss of expansion, propping up flawed doctrines with the crutch of enforced uniformity: do you see these things as developments?
