when i get sick it is rarely very bad.
i have a pretty strong stomach and can only recall twice when i was so sick to have my head hanging over the toilet.
once when i got food poisoning and when my appendix almost burst.
My wife manages a Home Health group in our area. They have a system that involves connecting a little box to your phone and you also get either a necklace or wrist band with a button and battery in both units.
The box has a speaker and if either button is pressed it sends a signal to the home office and they can speak to you through the speaker. Even if you are unable to reach the box.
Usually two or three persons are asked to accept the office calls and check on the person with the system if it seems to be minor situations.
But if the button has been pushed and they recieve no response or the patient says they are ill or down they will call the police and ambulance in your area.
They want the patient to call them on the system at least once a month and chat with them. Even if the patient wants to call more often just to chat, they will chat with them.
It costs around $45.00 a month.
If anyone is interested I will get the name and phone # that you can call and check it our.

He has no real evidence with which to counter all the questions and real life experiences, of those of us damaged by the wbts. So he runs away from the real issues and relies on his verbal cascade of nonsense.
When he realizes he is only embarrassing himself he stoops to attacking the messengers and not their message.

Reading Scholar's post reminded me of my confrontations with the Elders during the time my daughter and her sister first brought up that she had been molested by her pedophile jw elder uncle.
Talking to the elders was either speaking to one who had not a clue, as to what ought to be or can be done, as regards reporting it to the wbts and then dealing with their "just drop it" response.
Then on the other hand the elders in charge of dealing with the complaints and contacts with the wbts would speak to me just as Scholar is doing on this forum.
That sickening sweet smile, that condesending attitude, that "we are above you in this organization and you will do as we ask or face our anger and the power of the wbts".
That sickening " we are in charge and you are only followers that must bend to our superior knowledge and stature" we know you can't understand the depth of Gods actions, just follow our demands and
"SHUT THE HELL UP". Don't speak to other jw's about this, JEH will take care of this in his due time.
Actually Scholar does not know what to do. He and his mind are lost to the wbts and they own the poor retched soul. A man too weak to even consider getting justice for his own family member.
A man so weak and disturbed that his response to this group is laughable and pathetic.

Scholar, Tell your trash to my daughter who was molested by an Elder. She is a small person but I think she would hurt you.
She and several other sisters told the Elders of their complaints. Watchtower legal desk told them to drop it.
About five years later the Elders wanted to speak to my daughter again, as some more sisters had complaints now. This time he was removed as an Elder is all .
Then another 6 or so years passed and and this Elders daughter listened to some sisters complaints and she went to the elders with this information.
Finally after about 12 yrs. since my daughters complaint, he was df''d.
I was angry with the Elders and told them they needed the shit kicked out of them. For that I was df'd promptly and without any delays.
It seems that getting angry with the Elders is a much greater sin than molesting several sisters.
Can you explain for me where the loving concern from the wbts is in this described real life experience??
I can't seem to find it.

Well I just don't know what to think or believe. Lots of opinions and wishes, but when you come down to it, we just don't know how this will end or what may develop. Even though I would love to see this severely upset the wbts.
I doubt that this court decision, even if it survives appeal will have any huge effect on the wbts.
But I do believe that the wbts is facing the wrath of enough people, that we may see more and more court trials against them. If this happens I hope that the wbts will slowly bleed out and become completely insignificant and fade away.
This may take a few or many years. Lets just watch and wait and educate as many non jw's or jw's about the wbts.
Do not let the self proclaimed legal expert cause you too much frustration.

A job well done folks. I have never heard/read a more complete simple explanation of what Jesus said and how it does not fit the ACTIONS of the wbts.
No matter what they print or how much they say, IT IS THE ACTIONS THAT REVEAL the hypocrisy in their teachings.

As this story spreads around in the courts and lawyers world, I would hope that they will take a more secular view of the actions and money making aspects and their treatment of their employees of many so called religions.
This could open up the gates for a flood of government legal actions against many of them.
It could be that the wbts and a few others would be the first to experience a very new unexpected change taking place in their holier than thou attitude.

Gary I can recall times in my own life as a jw, that sound like yours. There were several times when I was a jw, that I could have used some help.
Even if I called them and asked, I was usually told that they had some excuse to not show .I remember helping one elder to run the elec, wiring in his new house and he promised to return the favor.
Even when I asked for his help he never showed up.
My dad told me once that if I had two or three GOOD friends I would be lucky.
Last week we had some flood warnings here in sw Idaho and with out any phone calls 5 friends showed up on their own.
One brought a tractor and they all helped to place things higher in the garage and haul things to higher ground.
Spent most of a day doing this. These evil worldly guys are the real "good friends".
