They wanted to redo the territories abour 15 years ago and several families would have been split up so it didn't happen then. Now they built a new KH and I wonder how many of those families stayed together or were reassigned.

Territories, and Boundary Changes...Such a Confidential and Top Secret
by Quarterback ini can recall awhile ago when some of the elder's wives weer talking and hinting that the boundaries were being changed in our city.
this affected 4 congregations.
my faimily was shocked when we found out from a sister in another congregation whose husband in not even in the faith.. apparently she is in the gossip group.. how sad, that they won't tell you what the proposed territories would be like, and allow some discussions on it.

I wasn't a very spiritual person in the WTS. I only did it because I believed it was the right thing to do. I don't feel the need to find another church.

Are there many non-English apostate forums???
by diamondiiz inmost of us here, are from english speaking countries and we can see many waking up to the truth in our areas, but how are people doing in other countries?
are there forums like this one in other languages and does anyone know if the foreign speaking "apostates" are also associating together in similar manner as we are able to?
just wondering if we have a much bigger advantage over non-english speaking witnesses in learning he truth about the troof..

Anyone watching "Walking Dead?" Yikes!
by Wasanelder Once inseason two is almost done.
anyone watching?
do you think any self respecting jw would watch this show?

My husband and I watch "Walking Dead". It's nice to be able to watch what I want and talk about it with others without fear of being turned in. Hershel's resurrection comment cracked me up too. I've read some of the Graphic novels which are way more violent and intense than the show.

by Bubblegum Apotheosis inmost of the website vistors and members have experience the wonderful conditional love (if not, why are you here?
), by the followers of the watchtower society.
feel the love "that no other organization or group of men and women have experienced" or was it elusive during your tour of the religion?

I stopped having to watch what I say and do around my friends for fear they would report me to the elders. I can be honest with my friends and its ok if we disagree.

I was watching an old 20/20 episode on the ID channel. I had no idea this about this case. Now that I've read up a little bit it is really disturbing - AIDS, elder visits at midnight and a congregation rallying around a murderer.

I can't remember the 'Most Important Date of My Life!' Can you?
by Diest ini honestly cant remember the exact date when i was baptized.
it does not bother me one bit.
i didnt have it stamped in that shitty reasoning book/babel that i got at the time, so i guess the only place i could find it would be my cards, which are far away..

Prelude to a disfellowshipping
by rory-ks ini was 25 years a congregation member; ten years an elder; all told, up to 18 years an appointed man; a decade or so as a full-time minister; assembly speaker, with the pinnacle giving the public discourse at a district convention.. .
i stopped being an active member of the congregation in november 2010, but it had been brewing for several years, with the customary gradual drifting away - all the necessary mental gymnastics as my spiritual views changed and doubts set in; quitting the theocratic ministry school; ceasing to answer; sitting quietly off to the side.
i think the straw that broke the camels back was when family worship inevitably became family worship.

How did you visualize Jehovah when you were young?
by Matsimus ini was born as a third generation (perhaps even fourth gen. but my great great grandfather never got baptized) jw.
i remember that when i was young, perhaps about five years old, i would think about jehovah as this big black ghost with yellow eyes.
to me he was quite frightening, and i was constantly catious not to piss him off.

I could never really picture him. I just went along with whatever was in the Revelation Book - which at one time scared the hell out of me.
