by minimus inthey society wanted these people in china to put a good word for them to legalize the work in the communist land.
the officials said, they just couldn't get the officials to do that but would put a good word for them anyway.. the sh*t these people dream up!.

I got this from a Jw friend, "It seems that there was never a ban on jw.org in China, and a brother in the Japanese branch who works in the factory said he had not heard about anyone going to China to fix their printing press. Looks like we were the victims of a hoax which our Japanese friend in New York had swallowed hook, line and sinker. Sorry about that." "Lots of love, Leon"

jehovah's witnesses are expected to prove their loyalty to the organization by believing and practicing what they are told.. does this lead to success or failure?.
ask the thousands of loyal believers who were led to expect armageddon in 1914, 1925, 1975!.

Please don't take the mick....but I got disfellowshipped for kneeing an elder in the nads
by outinthemeadows inan elder in my congregation got on my nerves because he kept putting his arm around me and i'd asked him to stop.
a few weeks later he did the same thing again so i used my knee against his micro-penis.
a judicial committee was formed even though i was being sexually harrassed by this octapus of an elder.

as you are aware, the educational system varies from country to country.

I have been dead set against their anti-education posturing my whole life. In 1994-95? there were several articles "What is the Bible's Viewpoint of Higher Education?" and I felt that they had at least retreated to position that I could agree upon, well somewhat. My firm position is that WTBTS should not have any position on Higher Education, as it is an individual decision. They should use their ink to encourage Godly qualities.
However, shortly after 2000 the WTBTS started their hateful rhetoric once again, and I'll have to say that is of the top 10 reasons I have left this religion and helped me to wake up. I've told my wife that I was not sitting idly by while WTBTS instructed our daughter to demonize education and instruct her to just be content serving as a second class citizen pioneering, content living below the poverty level, washing windows or cleaning offices at night just to serve the Great Eight. They are just full of it.

10 Years out of the JW Organization- What I've Learned ( For what it's Worth)
by flipper in10 years ago i stopped attending jehovah's witness meetings for good.
walked out of the kingdom hall cold turkey never to return based on injustices i observed among others and myself at the hands of elders giving out not god's counsel but personal opinions as counsel .
some of them weren't even giving out wt society counsel- just personal opinions.

Thanks Flipper, yes that is food at the proper time. Excellent thoughts. I appreciated and have noticed myself the spiritual man is one that is fully occuppied with maintaining the physical functions of the physical buildings, but he is considered a spirtual man. By this definition, as noted, a spiritual man can have a host of ungodly qualities and treat others poorly, but since he is occupied mowing the grass, repairing the vacuum cleaners or the sprinkler system, building a kingdom hall, then he is considered a spiritual man. LOL>

How to get through an Assembly?
by kaxozula inme just learning the truth about the truth has just made it hard to even get through a two hour meeting at the the kingdom hall.
i get so sleepy during them and i almost cannot contain it!
the last time i went to a convention, i was still an avid believer but as you can see, that has changed.

Walking, I had a friend that I had met in Bethel, and our families sat next to each other. He signaled he wanted to get up and invited me. We ended up going through every door that said, "authorized personel only" and I had the best tour of the arena I could ever ask for. We ended up under the stage believe it or not. Oh, it was funny. Volunteer, or just act like your volunteering. I've left the arena, gone down the street to the hotel's bar, and returned just before the last prayer. Go to the office supply because you needed another note book to take notes, etc.
