Eve WILL be resurrected....
by BoogerMan in...but not adam.. the apostle paul makes a clear defence for eve due to her being deceived, whereas adam - in full knowledge - broke god's law and was not deceived.. (2 corinthians 11:3) but i am afraid that just as eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to christ.
(1 timothy 2:14) and adam was not the one deceived; it was the woman who was deceived and became a sinner.
as such, everyone in every tribe of christianity who has been deceived by false teachers will be forgiven.

from W79 6/15/pg 27 par 2
2 Nonetheless, the invisible “presence,” or parousia, of the glorified Jesus Christ began at the end of the Gentile Times in 1914. So from then on it is the time period when what is foretold at 1 Thessalonians 4:16, 17 should take place respecting the surviving spirit-begotten Christians, to correspond with the “last day.”—John 6:54.Last day is during the 1000 years reign/we are now living in LAST DAY
For anyone to be being resurrected-including self professing anointed) we would have to be living in the Last DAY, because that is when Jesus said he would be resurrecting people) but notice this hasn't been fulfilled so how could we be living in the Last Day? Matt 24:29 “Immediately after the distress of those days
“‘the sun will be darkened,
and the moon will not give its light;
the stars will fall from the sky,
and the heavenly bodies will be shaken.’[b]30 “Then will appear the sign of the Son of Man in heaven. And then all the peoples of the earth[c] will mourn when they see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven, with power and great glory.[d] 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Conclusion: The WT just cheery picked and the gullible eats the adulterated spiritual food.

Smoking gun GB can’t get out of this one
by Mikejw inhere in 2022 if anyone says anything against the vaccines even a little bit you are almost apostate.. someone once mentioned all vaccinated sports stars collapsing and someone else said not to speak badly about the gb or by extension jehovah.. the gb can’t get out of this one, it’s gone too far.
it’s now the case that if you speak against the vaccines you are speaking against the gb and by extension jehovah .

punkofnice.. on Babylon the Great --"that is their propaganda, not everyone elses"....
What they taught about Babylon the Great made sense to me...and I haven't looked into other plausible takes on what it might actually mean...I think I will start a new topic on that note.

Something very wrong with that picture...They should be ashamed to ask for those who play there for donations...you would think they would be happy to provide some healthy recreation for those who are working for a pentance.

10 years on and I’m still indoctrinated
by joe134cd inthis experience highlights the level of my indoctrination, after 10 years of been a pomo.
a few months back my gf was hinting to me about what we could do for my birthday.
to be honest i just had no idea, that i even had a birthday.

I wasn't raised JW and we never had birthday parties...I never felt like I was missing anything...I don't get why some who were raised JW feel slighted... -

1985 and baptism...I wish I had read this before today
by enoughisenough ini am posting a link as to being legally bound to jw rules at time of baptism.
i only did a quick skim, but what i gathered is interesting, and what it says about 1985 may be of use to some hoping to just fade and not be bothered.
in 1985, the questions were changed at baptism for legal purposes so they could have causation to defend themselves should you decide to sue for whatever reason.

Meeting attendance
by Benavidez ini was wondering what your guys' meeting attendance was like.
our meetings here is like 50/50 with zoom and in person.
the spanish has it a little "better" with it being like 30% zoom attendance with most attending in person.. i've heard of congregations in other states having attendance where most (even elders and ms) attend meeting only via zoom and even have their cameras off.

? for those attending either inperson or zoom-do you see a decline overall?

Conditions of Watchtower Baptism
by Vanderhoven7 ini understand that there are 80 to 100 questions that would-be witnesses must answer correctly before they can be considered eligible for "christian baptism".
however i have noticed that none of the questions relate to the 607destruction, the 1914 invisible presence and enthronement, or even the 1919 appointment of the faithful slave.. now some may feel my question is ridiculous, but bear with me.. will jehovah's witnesses baptize someone who answers all 100 questions satisfactorily, but rejects 607, 1914 and 1919 and the events the watchtower associates with these dates if they agree not to express their rejection to others?.
your thoughts....

question 2 has changed over time...I remember when the words God's Spirit directed organization were part of it. Answering # 2 affirmatively is a legally binding contract --no one tells people that aspect of it. Raymond Franz explained it in one of his books. There was also some unusual wording in the last baptizm talk I heard towards the end they were informing the new ones of what was expected of them as to preaching and teaching...I remember thinking, WHAT???? I wish I could remember it, but it seemed a total overreach.
