in a statement, the national spokesman of the witnesses in nigeria, mr. olusegun eroyemi said the group then referred to as bible students, suffered inhumane treatment at the auschwitz- birkenau concentration camp by the nazi regime “solely on the basis of their religious convictions.. “during its nearly five years of operation, auschwitz expanded to include a concentration camp, a forced-labor camp, and an extermination camp, as well as over 40 subcamps.
here, the nazi regime carried out some of the most agonizing human rights abuses against millions of jews, as well as poles, slavs, roman and sinti, homosexuals, and people with disabilities, among others.

i found this story on reddit and also noted some of the replies.
it makes me wonder how many would have left their own jobs and paid their way, giving free labor and some supplying free materials if they had know what was going on behind the scenes.

blondie, from where I am sitting, they don't want that money ear-marked for relief so they can do as they please...then when there is a disaster, they still ask for more, more, more and volunteers for labor and supplies. total charlatans! They put out enough information about their efforts to keep r/f feeling good and not asking questions. I think most r/f would be appalled if they knew the extent of abuse of their donations and the fraud that plays out in the disaster relief.

Can you openly express doubts in the congregation these days?
by Elena ini know of a lovely old sister who has been a jw for several decades now who openly expresses doubts about jw interpretations.. she does it in such a lovely way and everyone loves her.
she is such a sweet old soul, makes everyone happy around her.. she has said things like- even if we have got it wrong about this and that i still believe the bible is gods word”.
she answers up regularly and she goes on ministry groups but like most of us she is definitely jwlite, we don’t really do door to door work anymore.

Elena, do it...just please do it! Find out! Some in the congregation won't tell you, but will complain to the elders and you will be on the radar! I posted on my FB AGAINST the jabs and some of the "friends" were seeking the elders on me.

if one has doubts about the JW interpetations, are they really a JW? After all you were baptized into a contract with the org. And how do you go and promote the org and the GB as the faithful slave if you have doubts? Maybe you just don't do more than lip service as far as preaching the good news for the sake of trying to fit in with the crowd. I would love to see a mass organized PIMO walkout day world wide--or even country wide ...easy for me to say ( but wouldn't that shake things up!

FreeOrange, the part about the homeless asking for food and being turned away...Mercy...How coldhearted can you be. Reminds me of the Jesus saying when you give something to eat to the lowest of these....you have done it to me. I guess the self righteous JW never thought of that scripture...I couldn't treat a dog like that. Truly sad, truly maddening!

I have seen articles where gas powered vehicles are being phased out by 2035 in California. This is a state that has rolling blackouts due to stress on the electric grid anyway....seems like a briliant move! It isn't uncommon to here stories about power outages and even predictions of the electric grid being shut down; yet the powers that be want everything on electricity ( get rid of your gas stoves! ) I think it is a control tactic. If everything you do depends upon have electric, if you don't comply with big brother, they just shut you down. There are videos online about solar power for homes-the pros and cons and it isn't all good news, so anyone considering solar powered homes should educate themselves.
