  ..I wanted to read the-In Search of Christian Freedom and couldn't find it in any form to download into my kindle...the paper copies were out of reach. I found a couple of youtube channels where that book was being read so I got to listen to it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oTw9ohdZCfI&t=5s

  I am commenting on the document about sheparding the incarerated. " Regular communication with the incarerated will help them feel connected with the congregation"...."prefer.... in-person visits and sheparding...." Here is what this reminded me of: I once had a Dr. I liked but it was hard to get an appointment with him because he ended up with a contract to treat at the Fed. prison. The inmates ended up getting the better DR. I think the guideline shows that bad behavior gets rewarded! I was in the local congregation for 10years...you had to beg to get a matter looked into. NO "shepard" called to see how you were doing ( you would get a call or text if your time wasn't turned in timely ) My spouse died and 3 years later when mentioning it to the "shepards", they didn't know I had been married. I think the only reason I got the sheparding call to start with was some of the friends were complaining about what I was posting on FB ( articles from viralogists, doctors, biologists, etc. ) In a way, during the "lock down", all were "incarerated"...I didn't know of anyone getting special attention. During that time, I bet if I dared to sort it out,I couldn't come up with a dozen names of those from the congregation that communicated with me.

  As to the training for the elders required by Illinois...Yeah, that is a set-up to throw them under the bus...been in the works awhile everywhere IMO...I think that because when the CO does the appointing of Elders and MS, it is to take responsibility away from the powers that be ( so much for being appointed by Holy Spirit )

  A Most Curious Tale of Archie Oliver Twist

  a most curious tale of archie oliver twist.

  11 years old, archie olivertwist passed into a coma on june 7, 1942. his neck was broken from a dive into a shallow riverbed at a family picnic.. archie was maintained in a vegetative state in a long-term care facility.

  hoping against all hope, his maintenance costs were paid by his parents.. half a century later, in the mid-1990s, they specified in their will that his brother and sister were bound by honor toward archie's continued care, using a trust fund established for that purpose.. miraculously, he finally awoke on january 16, 2017, archie was now 85.. oh, one more thing …(brace your mind for this…).

  some must not think it so terrible...they like to go to an isolated tropical places and beaches and go naked.

  I think some people also like to pick on God himself. Free will allows that.

  Leaving JW - My own experience

  as some of you may know, i disassociated myself from wt$ last april.

  and i did it in the noisiest way i could find: i wrote my disassociation letter and made sure to send it to all elders of the two congregations in my town and to all jws whose email address i possessed.

  i knew this would bring loads of issues because my wife was in as well as our younger daughter.

  I just wish I had been more patient and took time to do as you did before I wrote myself out. At least it may have drawn attention and some people may have been jolted. I did find a couple I talked to and sent emails to just dug in their heels defending the lies.

  If anyone who is pimo and decides to leave, I hope you will do it with a lot of prior letter writing to everyone you have an address for. ( hopefully all at one mailing )

  Virgin or whore complex that Witnesses have made my married life difficult!

  so was a virgin when i got married but my wife studied later in life and had been married for 6 months and had two boyfriends in her past.

  my strict witness mother hated my wife and thought she was not good enough for me.

  she thought all worldly women were dirty whores who cannot keep their vaginas to themselves.

  there was a Brother in a Hall I used to go to who seemed to get off on giving the talks about sex..( and he had a very jealous wife...she told one sister that another sister there should have a scarlet A on her forehead -just needlessly jealous! or maybe not since he got off on giving those sex talks.)
