pimo , as i said i`m going out on a limb here and i might upset some people ,but i really don`t think this is a real strategy that works and doesn`t help the person who is still in.. while you may be doing this to keep the peace in the household and keep relations somewhat stable in the family arrangement ,it`s not helping the person who is still under the control of wt/gb to break free from it ,and isn`t that what you would really like to happen ?.

and are their children involved as well ?

that`s another issue ,the longer they are subject to this control the harder it will be for them to disengage get free.. maybe you should re-evaluate what you could do more to help your partner / spouse or whatever to free themselves from this bondage they have involved themselves in.. [ of course their may be others who are quite happy to have their partners/mates under the control of the wt/gb.

Struggling to find a purpose

i spent most of my life in the org.

we were taught that our purpose in life was to serve jehovah.

that never really made sense to me, but it was still a purpose to keep going.

I think we are all given gifts ( talents) that we are to share with others who don't have that same gift..( so we help balance out a need they have and they help balance out a need we have.) In other words, find ways to make another person's life better. ( you may even get paid for it ) I can make people's lives more enjoyable by designing their interiors, bringing beauty, function, and comfort to their homes. The mechanic makes my life better by fixing my car. We have been subjected to futility ( I hate that ) and that tends to lead into the mindset of what's the purpose. I think it I were to die, not many if any would care at all...but while here, I made things better for at least some people. Ecc 3:13 And people should eat and drink and enjoy the fruits of their labor, for these are gifts from God.

i have seen arguments surrounding jesus' resurrection being proof of "the trinity" - now while in some cases it's a good argument the evidence for it remains very weak.

(bible quotes are from the nwt but other bibles are referenced, use whichever you please) this following version of it is a good example.. "the bible indicates that all [persons] of the trinity was involved in jesus’ resurrection.

galatians[1:1] says that the father raised jesus from the dead.

yesterday i got a call from the my seven year old sons school.

they told me he was quite sick and should take him home.

of course i am the contact because she makes no effort know where her phone is or if it is even charged.

you could have followed them up and told her she needed to go home to take care of the child because you needed to go back to work. But get real!-it's more important for her to show off for the circus overseer than be home with a sick child.

1975 selling of houses

I remember telling a lady I was doing some work for that the world would end in 1975...and at the same time in the back of my mind knowing no ones know the day or hour. But.....that wasn't the first end prediction and I don't remember the dates...late 1800's or early 1900's ...any I read about this...the WT predicted the end and many who were farmers didn't put in a crop because they thought the world would end and there wouldn't be a need to have a crop to harvest. So when the end didn't come, many were left in sorry straights. To me that is worse than the 1975 issue, because at that date in history, many lived off their land so to speak, so it wouldn't be as easy to start again...these ones wouldn't have a cash crop to sell or a crop to supply food. Just horrible!

according to the Bible, animals were created according to their own kind.. and He created the man and the woman -and they reproduce according to their kind....Plain to read in the book of Genesis...

now if you want to go down the evolution rabbit hole....I personally don't believe it. If a fish became a bird or however the theory goes, why are there still fish? and so on and on and on. ( ok, so some will think me ignorant...I am good with that.)

elder school and jabs

i watched a video ( can't think which one now.

)..and the presenter said he had been given unverifiable information from an elder's wife that the elders needed to have the "jabs" in order to attend elder school in person now and there wasn't to be a zoom, and if they didn't have the jabs, they needed to contact the branch.

( my thought: when will these toothless lions (elders) wake up and be real men and use their god given intelligence and quit allowing the manipulation?

I just watched another video about the spike ( up 19% when the expected variation between years in 1-2% ) of funerals since c 19--but many not related to c 19, so what? connect the dots....and then The GB pushes the "flock" and the elders to take this substance. The data out there shows it is a killer. ( some choose not to believe that-your choice)
