Seeing how they pushed/push the clot shot....you could argue they are in favor of it. ( more in the news lately proving the clot connection)

How Great Thou Art...and even from a JW point of view, I don't know why that wouldn't have been acceptable. The bottom line is they wrote their own song book to reinforce their belief system. There is a song now that I think is sung at memorial or close there about that honors the 144,000--not Jehovah, not Jesus....disgusting!

DID YOU KNOW - about Event 201? (Two months before the virus outbreak a simulation/discussion among the elite)
by Terry in(event 201).
“event 201” was an exercise organized in october 2019 to simulate what might happen if there was a severe pandemic.. it invited people from business, government, and public health to simulate coordinating a policy response to a theoretical pandemic.. .
what was the event?.

I had forgot for a while about Fauci's warning...He knew it because he was part of the plan IMO! He also warned of something worse later...so don't be surprised if this ( c 19 and the clot shots )are just a trial run to see what works with manipulating the population. By the way, check out videos about what pfizer knew about the clots.

Trinity
by Lost in the fog inbumped into a former jw friend who since departing has joined a protestant church.. his explanation of the trinity is "think of the congregation service committee in the jw religion, the three people who locally made all of the decisions affecting the congregation.".
three people each with their own personality who individually were seen as the coordinator, the service overseer, and the secretary.
but who made decisions as a combined unit.. so on the midweek meeting it was announced that "the service committee has approved the following..." .

My favorite Cooking Pot
by Wonderment inalthough cooking pots are not directly "religious" subject, perhaps not many will deny that a happy belly can lead to wholesome religious thoughts and peaceful spiritual discussions.. that said, through the years i have tried most major brands of cooking pots - all the way from all-clad to cast-iron skilets - including some with the most extraordinary claims in between.. however, the one we have used the most in our kitchen is one brand from denmark, specifically, the 5 quart pot called "scanpan.
" it is now approaching 40 years of daily use, and it has held-up surprisingly well.
the handles are as tight as day one when we bought it.

If I were told I could only have one cooking pot, it would be a big iron skillet, but since I have a choice, I use mostly a crock pot.

There was a posting not so long along about uniting religions. ( with that I have a conspiracy theory of my own ) I have watched a few clips of Elon Musk talking about the dangers of A i and I wonder what part it may end up playing in all of this...Elon thinks it will become smarter than man and may even take on a consciousness-watched enough old Star Trek to think this super computer may want to play God. ( so many sci fi movies seem to be predictive programming.) -

Who raised Jesus from the dead?
by Blotty ini have seen arguments surrounding jesus' resurrection being proof of "the trinity" - now while in some cases it's a good argument the evidence for it remains very weak.
(bible quotes are from the nwt but other bibles are referenced, use whichever you please) this following version of it is a good example.. "the bible indicates that all [persons] of the trinity was involved in jesus’ resurrection.
galatians[1:1] says that the father raised jesus from the dead.

Yep, Jesus resurrected himself and went to heaven and sits at HIS OWN RIGHT hand until he Subjects everything to HIMSELF that he HAD ALREADY subjected to HIMSELF ( 1 Cor 15:27,28 ) Makes perfect sense! (NOT!)
Yes, money meets a response in all things...but wisdom is life saving so wisdom trumps money ( Ecc 7:12 )
Revelations was set forth in signs. If you want to take it all literal, then can you hear Abel's blood crying?

"Jesus was fully conscience after death"....I would think if one believes that Jesus died and rose from the dead that they actually believe the Bible and if you believe the Bible, you would also believe that the dead are conscience of nothing at all. For Jesus to be actually dead, then it must apply he knew nothing...his thoughts had perished, ( ECC (:5....10) Ps 146:4 His spirit goes out, he returns to the ground. On that very day his thoughts perish. So either the Scriptures lie about the condition of the dead or they lie about Jesus really being dead, OR Jesus actually died and his Father, Almighty God in heaven resurrected him.

Our First Christmas Tree
by Queequeg inearly on, after we left jw land, my wife said to me, “i hope you don’t care, but i don’t ever see myself doing any christmas stuff.
i don’t really understand why some ex jws decide to do that crap.” we agreed that parties were a little different because of the social aspects, but other wise i didn’t care.
now… there’s a 16’ douglas fir with ornaments and lights in our living room.

My parents weren't JW. There is a description of a tree in chapter 10 of Jeremiah. As I recall the WT referred to these as totems. The very description fits a xmas tree: Jeremiah 10:2...2 Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.
3 For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe.4 They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not.5 They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.Anyway, my Dad thought this description meant xmas tree and when we would drive by houses with trees displayed, he would say, "A heathen lives in that house." That sound judgmental, but it was stated as fact, not judgement. He was helpful to anyone in need, so never held it against them. When I was little , we celebrated xmas and for whatever reason ( that scripture for sure, in part,) we quit having the tree and wrapped presents. Mom always cooked a big meal and we were given some money for to buy ourselves whatever we wanted towards the end of December. That was a big deal to be given $5 and taken to Ben Franklin!
