JW visit...after 12 years out

i used to post here under the name nobleheart but forgot the old password, so put up a new account (nobleheart1).

was a jw (2002-2011), ended up writing a da letter.

i am a christian (since leaving the org).

So do a lot of skipping and quick read all of the lessons and when she comes back inform her and tell her you have questions about certain points of what you skipped ahead and studied. I agree with the dumbing down...I had been thinking that for years-addressing adults as small children...even in the broadcasts...

Meetings so boring. I rarely ever studied because otherwise I would have been even more bored!

I have no idea at what point in the new material that 1914 comes up and is related to 607 but secular history doesn't agree with that date.

I Cor 6:3 Do you not know that we will judge angels? How much more the things of this life! .....if Jesus is Michael, the arch angel, then would that not place "anointed" as judges of Jesus? how would that make sense?

they aren't infalible or inspired, yet listening to them is liken to listening to the voice of Jesus ( who is infalible! ) and Jehovah directs them and he never lies! (but directs them to lie???) Would Jehovah and Jesus trust them ( as they claim) if they published false information-because the new light wasn't on!) ? It's laughable and how gullible we have been to ever buy into their lies.

Psalm 103:12 He has removed our sins as far from us as the east is from the west. God may forgive the sins, but JW keep a record of it and even decide if you are repentant or not. ( some have tried for years to be reinstated )

Matt 12:50 Mark 3:35 Luke 8:21 references Jesus's brothers as WHOSOEVER that does God's will. JW/WT teaches his brothers as the anointed and these anointed are to be submitted to -(WT 11/15/15 page 26,27

Psalm 143:3 Do not put your trust in princes, Nor in a son of man, in whom there is no help. The JW say to put trust in the GB and obey the GB for as was most recently strongly pointed out, they are the voice of Jesus ( you can throw up now! )

Young "Elders"

ever since the annual meeting last october and the letter to bodies of elders stating that "exceptional young men perhaps in their early 20's could qualify for appointment as elders.." it even states this in the updated elders manual!

have any of you pimo's, pimq's, or those on here with family/friends still in hear of any young men being appointed as elders yet?

i am talking 21, 22, 23, 24 etc.

Hellothere wrote why not have AI robot as elder? My conclusion is the AI robot elder would be smart enough not to believe the nonsense the in the flesh robot elders do. ( men doing as programmed without thinking for themselves )

is this the "great tribulation" which jesus warned he would bring upon the corrupt christian congregations worldwide, (revelation 2:22; 7:14) or is it the same 1st century g.t.

I remember thinking it was the local Hall...like don't dare miss a meeting for you may be on the outside when you needed to be inside. It never made sense! ( but then, what does really make sense once you get outside and look behind the curtain.?) This stood out in the reproduced paragraph...to ask the elders about sending money to the org to help is case of disaster. I used to think the society was really interested in helping people when disaster happens-now I see them as opportunistic to get hold of homeowner's insurances benefits while the brothers volunteer to do the grunt work , clean up and even pay for some of the materials. It really is ugly and corrupt behind the curtain, while the rank and file are trying to be kind.

I have thought about the KH being the interior rooms...how stupid! Look at the lock downs...they shut the doors to the KH and told everyone to stay home. Now I do have a suspicious mind beings I have been declared "crackpot" on this forum, I will share: If one accepts that there are hidden evil men who are actually running the org behind the scenes whose goal is mass depopulation, what better way to help execute that plan than to have their puppets gather the useless eaters into convenience places-they round themselves up! ( so beware if the call goes out for everyone to be sure to be at the KHs ) While I am at this subject, I always thought the scene of the ones hiding in the basement rather stupid too. They show up with their electronic devices to HIDE!...with built in trackers! oxymoron!
