  skim through the pages, and on page 5, I just thought the artwork on Jesus's now was very odd...is my imagination running wild because of other posting about artwork on this forum?

  I think this is a JW reasoning on that scripture but I tend to think it correct. The earth quaked. The tombs opens. Bodie became apparent. There is nothing I read in the verses that suggest these bodies were raised from the dead, but rather, the dead bodies appeared having been thrown out of the graves. If those bodies had been made aive, isn't it likely more details on the subject would have been provided. Why were they afraid? If dead ones were coming back to life, wouldn't someone have written about how the people were rejoiceing?

  TonusOH...some of the questions I ask them, they ask me back, like would Jesus do that-as in expect money from the government? and I would say no. Sometimes when they queried back, I would pin them down with what do you think. At anyrate, they were in agreement with what I was saying about religions making money from the governments and investments in war equipment UNTIL I told them JW did it and it was how do you know and they started to down play it. I hope the conversation sticks with them and annoys them into research. I think they felt comfortable with my questions because they were clueless that JWs were who I was speaking of because I would say, what do you think of a religion that would..........?

  JWs obtaining fake degrees from a US institution to teach English as a foreign language

  teaching english as a foreign language in asian countries is quite popular for those looking to travel and explore and make some money.

  if you have the tefl qualification you're pretty much good to go and don't need a degree.i don't know how lucrative these overseas jobs are but i do know one jw from my congregation in england who decided to move to the caribbean and teach english as a foreign language.

  i'm not knocking this individual.

  I had heard the JW get visas to go to other countries to preach by going in as teachers ( sign language comes to mind ) It's an opening they wouldn't otherwise have to get into the countries legally. So this "school" appears to be one step along the way. I wouldn't be surprised to learn a JW operates it. It really boils down to getting a visa under false pretenses if someone isn't actually going in to teach language-which those who think they are going where the need is greater are not!

  wifes friend had to go home to deep study the sunday article.

  does that mean not skimming headings?

  the last deep thing i remember was babylon book and it was a perfect fit except none of it came true.

  that outlandish REV book we studied should have woken us up. I remember thining something along the lines of how do they know this applies to JW ( like the locust with the stinging tails being a stinging message that the witnesses brings and the witnesses being everywhere so they couldn't avoid it. ( something like that-it's been years ) But with that book and many others they twist scriptures into knots to make it fit the witnesses. Many times I thought this is just conjecture yet I was guilty of group think. As far as deep study an WT article, they have dumbed those articles down so a 1-3 grade student can get it. ( See Ted Run. Obey Governing Body )

  I am thinking I was one of their more interesting encounters in the invite work! So do you think they go tell some of their friends of the weirdo they met today or do they keep their mouth shut rather than relate what i said? It is possible they will figure out I am "apostate" to them. Maybe not! I wish they would come back. I have more to say.

  i have not read a wt for many years, but a comment on jwn prompted me to check out this one study article #19. i was stunned, they addressed many observations i have made in the "comments you will not hear" over the years.

  this segment will contain comments on the section called what we do not know paragraphs 1 through 10. i will post what we do know” in another original post covering paragraphs 11 through 17”.

  I couldn't help but zero in on point 6 about community responsibility...I wonder how Many sheep have died , been injured with illnesses leading to an earlier death because of the coercion to take the vx. No apologies!! The hearings with Fauci prove what a farce it all was. Law suits have proved it wasn't really a vx. I guess they aren't sorry being they benefit from big pharma stocks.

  LongHairGal...I agree there is no excuse for their ignorance at this stage of the game, They do refuse to look at anything that throws shade on the org. But, they have been so duped!I had "friends" that I wish would wake up. They work so hard for their 9 headed god. Hopefully something will come up and they will start questioning just because a seed was planted. They clearly had no knowledge of that which I spoke. As for the trust fund -I told them it was on a tax record that they could look up and it shows the WT as receiving the moneys and also showed the companies in question.
