Think org it's tired of congregations. Been over a decade now with special watchtower weekend study how a Christian congregation should look like. No judgment or gossip and other things. JWs are usually not interested in such things. Meetings are usually a place you meet friend's and chit chat. No real development. Maeby it's much less hassel for organizations to go online and trow in towel when it comes to congregations.

Hellothere
Beth sarim. I agree. If watchtower stays with old meeting in khs and all half dead meetings, they are over with. Only way they can keep young people's interest is with a major focus on online video activity.

I agree, it's mostly online already. Meetings being mostly about videos. Preaching mostly about directing people too the website. Maeby the question should have been, when will the GB sell out all halls of and run with the money. -

When all Old timers are gone and just the new tech savvy generation left. But with selling of kingdom Hall's and probably like half JWs wanna continue on zoom, it may happen much faster. Even in five years maeby. You think it's gonna be base on monthly subscription? You pay every month and get password. How about elders and co. Will they be removed or moved to some kind of online elders platform. At least the child abuse situation would be handled that way. Kind of crazy that after hundred years of rules and regulations. Keep congregation clean and bla bla. Tree meetings a week. All could end up in a online religion without real congregations. It was all just a waste of time in the end. -

elder school and jabs
by enoughisenough ini watched a video ( can't think which one now.
)..and the presenter said he had been given unverifiable information from an elder's wife that the elders needed to have the "jabs" in order to attend elder school in person now and there wasn't to be a zoom, and if they didn't have the jabs, they needed to contact the branch.
( my thought: when will these toothless lions (elders) wake up and be real men and use their god given intelligence and quit allowing the manipulation?

Hellothere
I been thinking for year's either GB wants people too abandon religion or make them abandon meetings to sell khs. This overlapping generation, obey without question and so many other things. Now obligation with jabs. There's something not right here.

1975 selling of houses
by Paul Bonanno inas 1975 was approaching, many witnesses sold their property.
do you know about specific cases that are willing to share their experience of doing so?.

Hellothere
Got a funny story. Before I researched the 1975 teaching, i thought it was made up. But my mother told me about an incident that happened about that time. She was living in the countryside in South America. In the middle of nowhere. There was a man that was in love with the neighbours wife. Just before 1975 he road into neighbours house on his horse and fled with neighbours wife. The reason was he thought world would end 1975 and he wanted to spend his last time with the women he loved 😊. Don't know what happened with both of them after that. But it's a true story. It made me look up 75 teaching's. Cause if this could happen in remote place in South America, then end world teachings most have been ingrained in jws minds back then. -

It's like a new bethel or more. They probably buy new equipment. House and feed people there. Gonna cost lots to build and maintain. They be selling out lots of khs and assembly halls in a near future.

"
"Town of Ramapo Accepts Final Environmental Impact Statement On Proposed 1.7 Million Square Foot Project On 200+ Acre Parcel" I do believe 100% that watchtower sooner or later going online. This is a huge huge building to make videos. It's made for organizations that mostly gonna focus on video making.

New rules for inactive ones?
by Lynnie inhave the rules changed as far as disfellowshipping inactive ones when it's clear they are engaged in "wrongdoing?".
i have a cousin in seattle who was disfellowshipped about 3 years ago or so and then went through the process of being reinstated (took only 6 months) and then proceeded to fade and do nothing regarding the jw's .
fast forward to today and now she's had a baby out of wedlock and the uber jw elder father and mother are all on board somehow.

Hellothere
Think in a lot of congregations the elders have called it quits. The members are exhausted and don't care anymore that much about congregation issues. I have seen that development for some years now in different city's and country's i lived in

You can [not] trust the Brothers, wt study this week
by waton infor the lucid lurkers:Â # 37. the article's examples really show, that among the 'name people' only 50 % of rank and file, and none of the leaders can be trusted all the time.
but, shut up and put up.. eli and hannah, eli's sons committed gross sins, raping/ seducing woman visitors to the temple, for years, yet naive worshippers are to trust their brothers, even with their children ?
inaction by wt approved?

Hellothere
I think current GB, are gonna put blame on everything wrong in org, on Rutherford and Knorr. Oh we didn't make the rules org is under, we are victims and felt under bad advice. It's former watchtower leaders that are to blame. They made the two witnesses rules. I bet things are heading that way.
