Virgochik Think it all started with Rutherford. He turned org into some kind of preaching cooperation.

Prediction of Watchtower in a Few Years
by Foolednomore inkingdom halls will be the thing of the past.. conventions (mini assembly halls will still be going on) but will charge for attending and parking and always a donation.
elders will play a much smaller role since csa.
cart preaching will replace door to door.

I never took does census seriously. Last year happiest people in the world live in Finland 😁 come on now. Wanna feel the puls of organisation, visit the meetings. Watchtower meetings Half empty, most older people. What i find strange about that is watchtower religion Is a high controlling group. Build on snitching and elders putting pressure on members to attend meetings. Could it be the GB lost control of congregations?

Funny how organizations is still living in the 60s or 80s. Look how the two were dress. Suit and tie. With young person this days would watch and find religion interesting by watching this two? Totally uptight. If it's s friendly little talk, why not dress casually and make things look normal. I mean, only place many would use suit this days is visiting a funeral.Don't know If org maeby given up on getting people in from territory. Many ex jw videos on YouTube are more fun and modern that what watchtower puts out.

What about this idea. All apostate get together and chip in some money. Then that money is used to buy bouquet flowers and send too bethel. We could write on the bouquet. " Tony Morris we in the apostate community miss you and hope your we'll". What about that?

"with the now minimal hour requirements for pioneers, all of you must now take up your share in the pioneer work. Those who rebelliously choose not to will be judged as 'not of our sort' and shunned accordingly."
Think watchtower lower hours to keep people in organisation. They want people too come back to org also. They losing money when people stop being JWs. Of course it's another story with JWs in congregations. They get into a power trip, especially If they have appointments, and DF JWs even if they repent. But I think this days watchtower do anything to keep members in 💰💰💰

Seems they moving away from the word "anointed". It was heavy in use, back in the 80-90s, to prove Armageddon was near cause less and less from the 144000 we're participating in the commemoration of Jesus death. If we we're suddenly back in the 90s and this two claimed they suddenly received the heavenly hope. Other witnesses would probably have seen them as apostates going against watchtower teaching

“Allow me to put my notes aside…” (1975 DO talk)
by wallsofjericho ini remember years ago hearing an audio recording online of a district overseer talk regarding 1975. he said something along the lines of “allow me to put my notes aside” and then went off about how the end was coming in 1975. does anyone remember this?
or know where i can find a recording of this talk?.

"I thought they retired SuNUTko to a trailer park in the southwest USA somewhere a long time ago" Sorry to disappoint you. But they started to retire the nuts just a month ago. First one on the list Tony Morris. Watchtower motto seems too be "too late and too little" 😉

I think the last GB ( Olds being GB now) really believed in the 1914 theory. And that biblical generation is 70-80 year's. 1990 s come around and org starts it's downhill ride. Maeby they just thought jigs up. This didn't work out as we thought and they just started to let everything hang out. Atleast from what I could see on broadcasting they seemed too have lost all interested in what they we're saying. Former GB members were full av enthusiasm when giving talks. This one been very robotic.

All the Old ones and their ideas that JWs saw as Law are dying out. In comes the new GB with new made man rules everyone gonna see as biblical. Circle continues.
