Interesting Findings from the ESA Plank Satellite
by cantleave inthe european space agency has produced a fascinating map of the universe using the super dooper plank satelite.. by stripping out dust emissions and radio frequencies from the milky way galaxy and more distant objects to leave just the afterglow of the big bang, an image of the microwave radiation (measured over a 15 month period) has been obtained that gives an extremely precise picture of the universe just 380,000 years after the big bang.. what we have learned from this data is the universe is some 80 million years older than we thought, the universe is made up of slightly more ordinary matter than was previously thought - 4.9% of all matter, up from 4.5% - and that there is less dark energy (which cosmologists don't understand) than previously thought and also it has an axis of evil (it appears the early universe was assymetrical) and a cold spot!!.
so we need to go back to the drawing board with regard to inflation theory to account for the asymmetry and cold spot.. this is why i love science, the more we learn, the more we have to learn.
btw, god sisn't show herself!.

I like to play games
I'm not interested in playing games.
This thread is for learning, not going round and round with a bluster and puffery inferiority complex.

I need some serious advice...
by confusedteenager ini'm almost a year out of high school and of course, i'm not in college.
i'm a pioneer (sigh) with little to no work experience and having a really hard time finding any work.
i want to go back to college, but it's going to be difficult now that i'm a pioneer, and my parents cannot really afford the loans that will incur should i pursue going to college.

Best way to flip the work dynamic in your favor quickly, in this economy, is to narrow focus on being multilingual. First I would do Spanish, then Chinese (or some other combination that captivates you). Then do college Spanish with immersion in a Spanish congo (pioneer) with an eye on college Chinese.
Don’t get sidetracked and you are job golden (instead of you look’n for jobs, jobs will be look’n for you). And, parents will love it. Plus you won’t be into a curriculum morass that wastes your time, and money.
By 25 you will be financially beyond your peers.
That's what I would do. Just imagine you were thrown into one of these cultures and HAD to learn their language.
Sounds like fun.

First thing is, get your mental state correct.
Just because JWs are wrong doesn't mean the Bible is wrong.
Protect your investment in workable Bible knowledge.
Because of computers and the Internet you can figure out where JWs went wrong.
Rinse out the toxic JW dogma, replace it with truth. (Not another religious denomination)
(Great resources: JWN post, Wikipedia, CERN science, history, YouTube, etc.)
Talk to x-JWs who have made the transition (not x-JW angry, atheist, 4 th century xians, etc.)
I'm available any time to direct you to great information.
God's spirit will become more powerful, now that you are closer to truth.
Find ways to stir (tactfully) your family to the truths you have learned.
Mental clarity will give you positive energy which employers will sense, and like.
Transfer your natural skills to the work place e.g. customer service, typing, sales, receptionist, etc.
Slowly fade from the JW routine (this should be easy as others are doing the same thing)

Another change: they now portray Jesus' "evil slave" Mt 24:48-51 remarks as a hypothetical reminder of encouragement to the "faithful slave." And, those that disagree with their doctrines are simply "apostates." pp. 24
So, they know to take the "evil slave" out of any discussions. Cautiously they realize they're at risk of being painted with the "evil slave" image.
Very interesting!

by bethelyellowdollarbag ini'm interested in how we all view the bible?.
let me start by offering three different options:.

Its prescience thousands of years prior to scientific discovery is one of the things that separate the Hebrew narrative from the entire rest of religious and secular writings , that's ancient and modern .
