the company that hired me mentioned that they are concerned about a certain department and the way its being run, as this department affects every other department in the company.

Is it possible for you to be very direct with him and tell him that if he doesn't step up to the plate, he may be out of a job soon? You are obviously trying to guide him in the right direction. Maybe realizing he could lose his job will be the slap in the face he needs?

she has had 42 years of training and indoctrination.

i'm feeling sort of nervous, but also looking forward to it.

this will be our second scheduled session together, and we never did agree on a topic.. i'm assuming she will come with an agenda and another prepared presentation.

What do you do when your job makes you wanna puke your face off?

i'm talking like makes you physically sick and emotionally frazzled just thinking about it.

i'm talking like you hate it to the point you'd rather go without than work at it just for the money.

you'd live on cheap korean packet noodles for the next year instead of exchanging your labor for this job's money.. well, this is how i feel about teaching and tutoring.

You've been given some pretty good advice here. I hope you can find what makes you happy and get your confidence back.

But as a Mom with someone still in school, I'm asking you to stop teaching and tutoring if you hate it so much it makes you ill. You cannot possibly be giving the students your best, and, especially if your being paid, they deserve someone who WANTS to be there doing the job! I know there are others who feel the way you do about teaching, and believe me, usually the kids know you aren't into the job, but are simply collecting a paycheck.

You deserve to be happy, and the kids deserve someone who actually cares. I hope you find what you want soon, and can put the wt trauma as far behind you as possible. All the best to you!

The wikipedia link says most academics consider it to be falsely attributed to Barnabas and it was written late (16th century). They also believe that it was redacted to be brought in line with Islamic beliefs.

a non jw relative who is a staunch critic of the wt attends the memorial with us every year, but just because she enjoys worshiping with her relatives.

she fought against my parents becoming witnesses before i was born.

she owns the book 30 years a wt slave and suggested i read it.

My Mother-in-law's half JW and Half Apostate funeral

her funeral was at 1pm today.

they held it at a vfw hall where the service was upstairs and a meal downstairs.

we all brought dishes to pass, so much food!

Sounds as though things went fairly smoothly. JW'S can be an odd lot. But that was just more food for the rest of you!
