Demos at convention
by lostinthought inso i have made it through two days of the district convention, i half heartily payed attention during it (whoever evented smart phones is a genius!
) anyway i noticed the parts were pretty dummed down this year, especially the demos...and there were a lot of them they all were very unrealistic and over dramatized.
even the speakers parts were pretty dumb and scripted.

Disowning letter from father to gay son
by CaptainSchmideo ina friend or mine posted this on facebook (it has made the rounds on the net).. i didn't have the heart to tell her that this looks like a fairly typical letter from a jw to a disfellowshipped letter, often for things that would blow a normal person's mind (holidays, politics, marriage outside the cult, etc).. .

Sparlock worked his magic this weekend!
by 00DAD inyes it's true, i got to experience first hand the awesome magic powers of sparlock, the warrior wizard!tm.
this last weekend a friend of mine asked me if i could take him to the mechanic's to pick up his car after being serviced.
now this friend of mine (who is not and has never been a jw) is the the one and only friend that i've remained in constant contact with through the dark quarter century of my life when i was a witness.

What was the weirdest thing ever said to you as a JW?
by falseprophet ini was about 8-10 years old and twice i had people tell me that i should not pioneer but to go to bethel because i "was governing body material".. one was a co and another a do.. i didn't even believe in god, never have so that makes it weird!.
what wierd things were told?.

Just got the "Samsung Galaxy Note" Phone....nice! Did I make the right choice?
by Witness 007 ini was looking at the sumsung galaxy 3 which just came out, but caught my eye on the galaxy note which had a bigger screen and a stylist pen since i have huge fingers!
at work they banned internet on work computers thanks to a bitchy co-worker of mine who is going thru menopause and swinging the axe quiet a bit.
so i will use this to stay on jwn.
