Ya'll dont believe in God?

i have to ask this although i have a feeling i dont really want to read the responses but anyway.

i talked to several people here today who dont believe there is a god at all.

this is disturbing!

I have a dial-up modem Crap! Crap! I'm so peeeeved right now! Can anyone tell me if there is a way to keep from loosing the connection when someone picks up the phone in another room to make a call when i'm in the middle of responding to a thread??? This has been happening all week.

I was responding to this thread and was just about finished when someone picked up the phone in another room and BLEEP GLITCH connection lost. AAAAHHHHhhh!. I think I was actually saying something good. Damn Damn.

Micheal the ArcAngel/Jesus the man

i understand that a lot believe that micheal and jesus are one in the same some believe that jehovah and jesus are one in the same some believe that one is the son of god yadda yadda yadda.. would some of you please address or post your reasons for believing that micheal the arc angel was not gods first creation and why he couldn't be the one sent to us to be born as a man and become our savyor?

why would he not have another name fitting his role as a man on earth?

he obviously wouldn't be living on earth as a child growing up as an angel.

if you believe god created the universe, then surely there is something more than the universe.

Hi There js, nice to have you post. Welcome aboard. Did your mother ever get the help she needed? I always feel bad when I hear of someone who didn't get the proper care and help they need because of old superstitious beliefs. Thats all it can be and it's to unfortunate that so many in the congergations continue to believe that.

I've Cried for Days

i have been separated from the jws now for 4 years.

the first year, i went into a deep and severe clinical depression.

i think that's what happens when you are 3rd generation jw, born and raised.

I feel your pain also. I've been there and I still am in many ways.
I went through Horrible depression for several years and I am on my way to recovering. One day at a time. It's very hard when you have family who are so devoted to something thats been the biggest part of your life your whole life. It is like dieing. But you do slowly come back to life.
I am on line when ever I get the computer to myself, I share. But feel free to e-mail me anytime if you need to talk of blow off steem. You will find a lot of support here I found that out and it isn't like the kind of support you get from other JWs . The only kind of counsling I ever got from them, well most of them, was I was having problems because I was basiclly allowing Satan to run my life. He sure is a busy guy these days. Everything was because of Satan. Not all feel that way but the ones who are most understanding are far and few between, sorry to say.
Gotta take my kid to school now. Take care.

Baptismal Change Question

hi everyone... back in late december, teejay posted a question on why the baptismal change?

i printed out the thread.

the 2 questions were posted: the initial questions were taken from the may 1, 1973 watchtower and then the changed questions were posted from the june 1, 1985 watchtower.

I would like to Second that! I missed the post by TJ in Dec. I wasn't here in Dec. I would like very much to see the new questions also. Had I saw them back then I would have been able to answer my own questions regarding "to get baptized or not" I think it 's strange that the congergations don't just pass that material around themselves. They should.
