JW-apologists - and who survives Armageddon?

lately i`ve been in conflict with jw-apologists on wikipedia in my country.

the most annoying thing is when the jws are trying to rewrite doctrine to make it sound more humane than it really is.

everyone on this board, everyone who ever was a jw or were raised as a jw,knows what the real doctrine is on this issue.

We were taught to believe that only jws (in good standing) and their underaged, unbaptised children, would have any chanse of surviving Armageddon.

We just came home one evening from a meeting and my parents, looking pretty mentally tormented, approached me with their concerns that if I was not baptized before Armageddon arrives, any minute now, I was soon going to be old enough to be destroyed. I think the age mentioned at that particular meeting was 13? I was 11 or 12 at the time and almost old enough not to get trough Armageddon riding my parents.

yep...one HAD to be baptized in a swimming pool or no deal.

If people should thank Him for the good why not blame Him for the bad

ok the thread on thanking jehovah for keepping a purse safe while left in a shopping cart, got me to thinking.. if we are suppossed to thank god for the good things in life, why is it wrong to blame him for the bad things?.

now i am not saying i blame god for anything.

so please don't comment on this thread saying i am bad person for asking this question, because i don't buy that.. i am just asking why does he only get the praise and none of the blame?.

striking similarities to the pharisees?

is it just me or do jw elders seem to parallel the pharisses of christs day?

certainly, the excessive laws (written and oral), are a heavy burden for all jws, impossible to keep, leading to feelings of guilt.

the elders enforce these laws , and, just like the pharisees of christs day, render these laws as having greater importance than mercy/love.

I was without my computer, still am?only use my laptop now, and only posted when I went to the library so I had to choose carefully where I spent my time allotted. I posted here because there was simply more real information available. The other sites only offered war games and I found them boring after awhile. Time was too valuble to waste on that.

I already left once before so it didn't really have any influence on me leaving but it did keep me from going back. I almost went back until I started researching on the Internet.

according to wts doctrine god will kill not only pet owners but pets as well, if they are not jw.. i'll give you all some time to respond to this and then i'll show you the actual wts doctrine on this.

LOL! Back in 1997 I was still attending regular bible studies with a full time pioneer sister that said to me, after I introduced her to my rottie one day, :

"You do know that Jehovah will not allow these dogs in the new system don't you?" LOL!!!!!!
