I would agree with him that he is messed up sexually and just as most sexual perverts try to make excuses there is no excuse for this.

Its a huge change because up until recently the official doctrine was always only baptism can save you, possibly children of baptised may just about make it but it’s going to be very hard. But if you died beforehand then you would be resurrected unless you were really really bad.Now they brought out this new light that it’s silly to hope your unrighteous loved ones die beforehand because they may make it through Armageddon unless they are really really bad.
so basically now billions of people will make it through? Lloyd Evans used to say those pictures of the new world showed perfect parks landscaped over the bodies of 8 billion people.
Now it seems the new light is that not that many will be slaughtered at Armageddon?
This really is the opposite of a nothing burger that Lloyd said it was, it’s probably one of the largest changes in the history of the organisation. Now Billions of unrighteous may survive Armageddon and Billions more unrighteous getting resurrected
The new light is that we can’t be dogmatic and we don’t know who of the unrighteous will be resurrected or who of the unrighteous will not be slaughtered at Armageddon.

Hailstone message AND everyone will be saved? Questions
by slimboyfat ini’ve not been paying close attention to watchtower developments, but talking to a jw yesterday it occurred to me the society (yes, still use that term - old school) have been sending out mixed messages in recent years.
from what i gather, a few years ago the gb announced that during the great tribulation jws would be required to preach a “hailstone message of judgement” which involved telling people it was too late for them to repent and they were definitely going to be destroyed.
there were hints that this could be very soon, “any day now” preaching could stop and the hailstone message come in, kind of thing.

His main argument was always that everyone not a JW will be slaughtered
how many times has he said “landscaping over the bodies of 8 billion people”
now they have changed doctrine but he wants to hang on to the old light, so he calls it a nothing burger and tries to ignore it

Yes he may as well ask Jessica about the old truth book, or divine plan of the ages. These are just as pointless as he has become.
what’s the point in living in the past, everything has changed but he is still thinking about the old organisation
he still thinks the JWs believe what they used to and he has no idea about the org these days. All he knows is outdated and he doesn’t want to put in the work getting upto speed.
classic example is that he is still holding onto old light “everyone not a JW will be slaughtered”
Br Jackson said you don’t have to wish your unrighteous loved ones have to die before Armageddon. The unrighteous may make it into the new world if they die before or are still alive when it starts
he needs to retract his statement that this new light is a nothing burger.

by Mikejw inimagine if all the governing body resigned and a new set of brothers came in and said we are very very sorry for all those who have been disfellowshipped and disassociated over the years.
we know many mistakes have been made.
we are really genuinely sorry to all those who have been hurt and especially those who have died and been hurt by these mistakes.

We will leave it up to you what you decide
If anyone wants to have celebrations, it’s up to them is the conscience is what matters
If anyone interprets scripture differently to us, then we will not be dogmatic, we just don’t know
From now on meetings will be more of a social occasion. We will discuss with an open mind different Scriptures

Derek you could be right. He knows he was so late and says I know others have made a big deal out of this. Then he goes on to call it a nothing burger.
In that case what kind of an activist is he? He is playing down what he is supposed to be drawing attention to.

And Lloyd calls it a nothing burger and he still said after this that JWs believe everyone not a JW will be slaughtered. He has now proven he doesn’t know what he is talking about.

There is no point in a hailstorm message and actually no point in ministry now. There is no point being a JW either as Br Jackson said you don’t have to wish your unrighteous loved ones have to die before Armageddon. The unrighteous may make it into the new world if they die before or are still alive when it starts.
