Yes that’s the way things are going, we can’t be dogmatic we just don’t know. And we never did.

Hailstone message AND everyone will be saved? Questions
by slimboyfat ini’ve not been paying close attention to watchtower developments, but talking to a jw yesterday it occurred to me the society (yes, still use that term - old school) have been sending out mixed messages in recent years.
from what i gather, a few years ago the gb announced that during the great tribulation jws would be required to preach a “hailstone message of judgement” which involved telling people it was too late for them to repent and they were definitely going to be destroyed.
there were hints that this could be very soon, “any day now” preaching could stop and the hailstone message come in, kind of thing.

You must know that faithful JWs sold houses and cars to donate the money to preaching work
Many did sell up for 75. Some gave a lot to the branch and some just lived of it wasting it all really since they genuinely believed with all their heart what the brothers were saying would happen before the end of the year 1975.
As it got nearer the end of 1975 some started to worry what have I done. Oh shit maybe those brothers got it wrong, oh holy fuck I sold my house and gave up everything based on what they told me!
Apparently anyone who experienced doubts that maybe the brothers were wrong about 1975 were labelled as bad associates or even apostates.
Fast forward to the 2020s and it’s exactly the same with the vaccine and staying fully vaccinated. If you express doubts about the Governing Body direction then you are labelled bad association.
Even now that the GB have done an official U turn on their own fully vaccinated mandates but still if you express doubts that the old direction was wrong then you are get told off. Once you are labelled someone who doubts the vaccines you are someone who doubts the GB. Because the GB never doubted the direction from Jehovah.
I have given this a lot of thought and when I think about relatively intelligent long time JWs I can only put it down to sink cost fallacy. They have invested so much of their lives into the religion they don’t want to consider that it’s not the truth.
I can easily convince anyone that this fully vaccinated direction was wrong. But they don’t want to hear it, some blind loyalty to these clowns in upstate NY.
Same with 1914, all you have to do is stop and think for a short time are they really correct about 1914? But they have such a blind loyalty they don’t want to think about it.
the brainwashing is so strong they somehow think they are being disloyal to Jehovah by doubting the vaccines and thinking about 1914?

2024 when will Witnesses admit they are wrong???
by Witness 007 in1914 generation is long gone.
1975 was a joke 40 years ago.
i know of many witnesses still hanging on for armagedon but when will they give up?

To answer the question if the GB ever admit they are wrong just look at the amount of U turns they have made. This is admitting you were wrong without actually saying it.
They did a U turn on beards and now they are doing a U turn on being fully vaccinated to attend any of their programs.

The article doesn't say that at all and there is no correlation at all between Covid, vaccination or these bolod clots.
The article says “COVID-19 increases the risk of blood clots much more than the COVID-19 vaccines do”
this is trying get you to think the clot shots are not responsible but covid is.
this is just not true and I think you are still in JW mindset, you need to show critical thinking skills and be careful what you believe.
the article also tries to make out these synthetic white fibrous blood clots were happening before the rollout of the clot shots. This is also not true.
All the embalmers with many years experience have said they have never ever seen these white fibrous clots before 2021.

the GB decides that they do care about the whole 1914 problem, they could just set a new date for Armageddon that is far enough out, like say the year 2150, so that no one on the current GB has to answer for a failed prediction. Instead they could tell all of the obedient dubs that its there job to prepare all of humanity for the end of the world.
They kind of did that with the overlapping generations thing. That bought them enough time to live out their lives so the next GB have to worry about it. These two younger guys on the GB are only just overlappers anyone younger and they have to admit 1914 was wrong
FFS do research.
Notsure yes do research but on both sides of the coin. Not just the vaccine apologists, that article tries to say it’s cv19 causing the white fibrous blood clots and not the jabs. But the embalmers all say it’s the vaccinated bodies that have them not the unvaccinated

He hasn’t even done any good at being an activist.
Several times he has been accused of being controlled opposition by the borg. I don’t believe the Borg would actually ever do this but he is so bad at what he does I can understand why some may wonder if it’s true.
why he tries to play down the largest new light change in recent JW history calling it a nothing burger is beyond me.
He could have done a great video about if unbelievers are not as likely to survive as those those who have died are likely to be resurrected, then people might as well go back to hoping their relatives die before Armageddon again

Somewhat vague about having the same chance no matter when you die or are still alive yes, but don’t wish your unbelieving loved ones die beforehand because if they are alive they have the same chance. And when you think they are not vague about everyone being resurrected unless really bad. And they are not vague about how silly it is to wish your loved ones die beforehand so they have a better chance. So they are not vague about that.
All they are vague about is WHO IS REALLY READY BAD AND WONT GET A RESURRECTION OR WILL BE KILLED AT ARMAGEDDON
Or to put it another way, if unbelievers are not as likely to survive as those those who have died are likely to be resurrected, then people might as well go back to hoping their relatives die before Armageddon again

New approach to ministry
by Mikejw inthere is a new approach to ministry where the direction is to just talk to people and listen to what they want to talk about.
the new school for the midweek meeting is completely different and is all about the new approach .
even before the no reporting changes field service dropped right off.

I’m also amazed that those still in have not yet realised something is not right.
Take this new light at the 2023 AGM Most JWs have completely missed the largest change in recent JW history, I don’t think they have grasped the difference between the old light and new light. Yes the new light that if you die beforehand or are alive during Armageddon you have the same chance of being in paradise.
It’s all very well saying we can’t be dogmatic and we just don’t know. But they do seem to be dogmatic that everyone who ever died will be resurrected unless really bad and now there is the same chance if alive during Armageddon.
So there is a chance billions of people will make it through Armageddon
just billions will be resurrected

Silentbuddah there have been lots of videos and the changed midweek meeting program is all about the new approach
we even have 1 min parts now and a few 2 min parts so that as many bros and sis as possible can have parts on the meeting.
some parts are literally just talking to people about unrelated stuff and not mentioning the Bible at all, and this is recommended well done you implemented the new approach
also we had parts showing someone unhappy and asking questions about the blood issue or something else and the idea is to just walk away.
Yes this was a recent assessment on the new school system
