  Where is Tony?

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  I find that hard to believe, if this was the case then why hasn’t anyone taken any recent pictures of him?

  better yet approach him and ask how he is doing?

  Half hearted JWs compared to past generations

  is it just me or has there been a massive change in jws of late?.

  when i grew up in the cult they had a real sense of urgency and would do an hour minimum, these days it’s not even ten mins before coffee break.. same goes for everything else, it’s half hearted .

  the truth is most active jws would probably agree that most of the teachings are not right, the new thing is that we just don’t know.. the governing body now say they get things wrong and make mistakes as they are not inspired and not infallible.

  Sorry, they did not mention anything about getting the vax just a reminder to stay home if sick. I guess getting it is up to the individual now

  It’s a bit late now! Every other meeting someone answers up to obey even if you don’t understand the direction. Then they say how well protected we all were taking vaccines when some were saying they weren’t safe

  I wonder what Lloyd’s life is like every day?

  he Lives on his own in a country that he doesn’t speak the language.

  he has no job but makes a short YouTube video every few weeks that seems to be enough for stupid people to keep sending him money.

  it seems like his only real friend was his video editor who he now seems to have fallen out with.

  his ex wife must hate him after the letters he wrote her. What an awful man he has shown himself to be.

  what does he do all day in a country where he can’t even communicate with the locals?

  Now he is so hated in the ex JW community it has caused huge division.

  there used to be great meet ups and kinda like ex JW conventions, now what Lloyd has done has ruined all that.

  Is Watchtower totally off base on Armageddon?

  to me it is quite evident that the gt spoken about in matthew 24, mark 13 and luke 21 is a one time, non-repeatable localized event resulting in the destruction of jerusalem and the temple followed by the dispersion of surviving jews throughout the nations.. however, what is not so clear to most is that the gt of revelation deals with the same event.

  my understanding is that the gb of jehovah witnesses has no clue as to how to interpret the apocalyptic messages found both in the synoptics and revelation.

  but steve greg has armageddon down pat.

  Mat 24:14 can’t be talking about ancient Jerusalem as the good news had to be preached in the entire inhabited earth before the end would come

  they are not trusted. If there is another pandemic and another doubtful vaccine that the GB say is safe, I don’t think many JWs would listen obey and get vaxed this time around.

  Revelation Climax book released in 1988.

  I still have my original copy

  The Borg applied for UN NGO status in 1991 & was accepted in 1992.

  Subsequent affiliation for 9 years until a Guardian newspaper called them out.

  The Borg was found out. Within a week of this discovery the Borg formally applied to have their membership revoked.

  This triggered the Borg to issue an "insert" to the Revelation Climax book which was studied about a half dozen times,,,prior to this discovery & insert.

  The Revelation Climax book was only studied once or twice using this,,, at least once.

  Subsequently the Revelation Climax book has been unceremoniously moth - balled & never discussed.

  WOW!!

  Yes it’s a huge red flag that they used to say they knew and now say they don’t.

  What else do they claim they know right now that in the future they will have to admit that they don’t know and never did.

  They are throwing old deceased GB members under the bus.

  What will it take for the average JW to realise that this is just a human run organisation?
