  how do you feel about the use of the name Jehovah now?

  for those who still believe in god and the bible, how do you feel/think about the name jehovah now?

  i am one who never wanted to bring reproach on god's name.

  i will admit using the word jehovah now makes me feel rather icky...like i am promoting a lie of sorts.

  Jehoiachin – Zechariah

  Jehoah Could be correct also. Most Bible names starting with J could be a little different in various languages.

  English there are a few ways you could possibly translate the divine name. Many other languages JWs get the divine name better than they do in English.

  on february 22, 2023, anthony morris iii was officially removed from the governing body of jehovah's witnesses.

  a few months later it was revealed that the watchtower bought him a house in lumberton, north carolina.. however, and correct me if i am wrong, since leaving the gb nobody has reported seeing tony attending jw meetings or participating in field service.

  in fact nobody has reported seeing him anywhere, not even at a local liquor store.

  After all this time we should at least be able to find out if he is still attending meetings? If he is in a congregation somewhere what do those members of that congregation know about him?

  I remember hearing about Br Chitty who was GB attending congregations as normal after he was removed but these days the internet has changed everything

  Are there any other elders who can post confidential letters?

  I’m sure there are PIMA elders who could post the confidential letters somewhere, they often end up on Reddit. Then the exJW community do video commentary and such.

  Atlantis was so good at organising these things I do hope someone else steps up to fill his shoes.

  could we have a fund raiser or go fund me page for an elder to get the equipment needed to be able to upload safely using a VPN and encrypt it or something?

  In case the branch has embedded some way of tracing the origin of leaked content?

  Half hearted JWs compared to past generations

  is it just me or has there been a massive change in jws of late?.

  when i grew up in the cult they had a real sense of urgency and would do an hour minimum, these days it’s not even ten mins before coffee break.. same goes for everything else, it’s half hearted .

  The vast majority of humanity who claim to have some kind of religious beliefs are half hearted. It’s only a few who are true believers in every sense of the word.

  Decades ago most Jws fell into the camp of true believers in every sense. These days the minority of real old timers still fall into that category but the vast majority these days are half hearted.

  This Is a monumental shift in the JW religion. All the changes of late have been forced to reflect this.

  Most people in congregations are just like other religions now, half hearted going through the motions but not die hard true believers in every sense of the word. They go through the motions and say the right things but they know in their heart it’s not all true and just hope that some of it may be true but they know it’s probably not.

  but for now go through the motions because it’s nice being part of the community

  Silent Buddha you really saw him out and about?

  I find that hard to believe, if this was the case then why hasn’t anyone taken any recent pictures of him?

  better yet approach him and ask how he is doing?

  the truth is most active jws would probably agree that most of the teachings are not right, the new thing is that we just don’t know.. the governing body now say they get things wrong and make mistakes as they are not inspired and not infallible.

  yet they are still to be trusted no matter what?.

  It’s a bit late now! Every other meeting someone answers up to obey even if you don’t understand the direction. Then they say how well protected we all were taking vaccines when some were saying they weren’t safe
