didn't know where to post this, but i thought it might be fun.
it was in ann landers or some such place years ago.. if you had your life to live over, say from age 16 or 18 onward, what 5 things would you do differently?.
my choices might be:.

after study... i have concluded that the jw's are nothing more than another off-shoot of the adventist movement.
see below.. the adventist movement (millerites) was started by william miller (a lay baptist minister) in 1843 and that created 3 off-shots.
the advent christian church, the life & advent union, and the seventh-day adventists (which sprang the branch davidians).
I'll take 3 & 4.
who do jehovah's witnesses say they are?
do they say they are both jehovah?
also, is the new world translation bible on-line to look at?
Francoise,
two more cents for you:
John 20:10-12
11 but Mary stood outside the tomb crying. As she wept, she bent over to look into the tomb 12 and saw two angels in white, seated where Jesus' body had been, one at the head and the other at the foot.
considering an apostacy that was well into swing by 100ad, and worse yet by the time the nicene council was held in 325ad... how are jehovah's witnesses sure about the basically protestant canon they initially accepted which was canonized about 376ad at earlist and still even then, many christians didn't agree upon that and still don't today!
i could go into more detail if desired... but upon what basis to jw's accept this canon from an apostate generation?
how do they know that other books such as the book of enoch originally held to be scripture and quoted frequently in mark or the shepherd of hermes should not be included as inspired?
Is God so powerful that the creator of the sun has absolutely no power in making sure the the correct number of books gets compiled together?
Francoise, God wants your butt. To live.
Here's two cents for you:
Acts 1:10
10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
The seedy,

when god banished cain, why was he in fear of his life when there was only he and his family on the earth?
after all, how many could there have been and is it logical to think they were everywhere else--anywhere else but where cain and his family lived?
so, who was he afraid of that would take his life?.
>>>Anger, enmities and contentions are works of the flesh, 'Pom.<<
There is no anger in this line:
"First mediator/messenger now you da judge too"
Of which all of the rest of the post above is all God's word rebuking you for your mistatement.
You called me a liar...that is not a rebuke that is a judgement only to be assessed by the Lord. If it's not true, it's a lie and slander.
Luke 17:3
"If your brother sins, rebuke him, and if he repents, forgive him.
Speaking of rebuke:
Titus 2:3-5
3 Likewise, teach the older women to be reverent in the way they live, not to be slanderers or addicted to much wine, but to teach what is good. 4 Then they can train the younger women to love their husbands and children, 5 to be self-controlled and pure, to be busy at home, to be kind, and to be subject to their husbands, so that no one will malign the word of God.
1 Cor 14:33-35
As in all the congregations of the saints, 34 women should remain silent in the churches. They are not allowed to speak, but must be in submission, as the Law says. 35 If they want to inquire about something, they should ask their own husbands at home; for it is disgraceful for a woman to speak in the church.

>>To which I respond... hypocrite (or liar, depending on whether God indeed SPEAKS to you)...<<
First mediator/messenger now you da judge too.
Rom 14:4
4 Who are you to judge someone else's servant? To his own master he stands or falls. And he will stand, for the Lord is able to make him stand.
Rom 14:9-12
10 You, then, why do you judge your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For we will all stand before God's judgment seat. 11 It is written:
"'As surely as I live,' says the Lord,
'every knee will bow before me;
every tongue will confess to God.'"
12 So then, each of us will give an account of himself to God.
1 Cor 4:5
5 Therefore judge nothing before the appointed time; wait till the Lord comes. He will bring to light what is hidden in darkness and will expose the motives of men's hearts. At that time each will receive his praise from God.
James 4:12
12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you-who are you to judge your neighbor?
Matt 7:1-2
7:1 "Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
Luke 6:37-38
37 "Do not judge, and you will not be judged. Do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven. 38 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
John 8:15
15 You judge by human standards;
when god banished cain, why was he in fear of his life when there was only he and his family on the earth?
after all, how many could there have been and is it logical to think they were everywhere else--anywhere else but where cain and his family lived?
so, who was he afraid of that would take his life?.
>>my Lord has directed me to inform you that in that realm<<
Give me a break. If God wants to inform me of something, He does it himself.
You are NOT my mediator. You are not my messanger between the Father and I. Christ is. DO NOT EVER pretend to intercede for anyone, including me.
Those who pretend to mediate are disgusting things standing in the Holy Place. Just like the governing body of JW's. Your game is no different.
Now, get out of my temple, my body is as much a temple of the Holy Spirit as yours is.
God told me to tell you that.
bah bye.
may you all have peace!.
i would like to interject independently of a thread below, where the debate is satan being god's 'wife'... and therefore, wisdom.. 1. satan... was one of the 'cherubs' that was 'covering' the ark of the covenant.
michael is the other 'arkangel', and both were created to 'cover' the propitiatory... which 'covers'... the ark.. exodus 25:17-22. ezekiel 28:14, 17.
Two prophecies of Christ on the cross are vividly portrayed by Israel and Moses...
Gen 48:12-14
12 Then Joseph removed them from Israel's knees and bowed down with his face to the ground. 13 And Joseph took both of them, Ephraim on his right toward Israel's left hand and Manasseh on his left toward Israel's right hand, and brought them close to him. 14 But Israel reached out his right hand and put it on Ephraim's head, though he was the younger, and crossing his arms, he put his left hand on Manasseh's head, even though Manasseh was the firstborn.
The "Right" went to #2 by way of a cross.
#2 (as Christ is of God) gets the blessing of the firstborn [you do realize Christ is both of these depictions, #2 AND firstborn]] by way of the crossed arms of Israel.
Ex 17:10-13
10 So Joshua fought the Amalekites as Moses had ordered, and Moses, Aaron and Hur went to the top of the hill. 11 As long as Moses held up his hands, the Israelites were winning, but whenever he lowered his hands, the Amalekites were winning. 12 When Moses' hands grew tired, they took a stone and put it under him and he sat on it. Aaron and Hur held his hands up--one on one side, one on the other--so that his hands remained steady till sunset. 13 So Joshua overcame the Amalekite army with the sword.
Moses arms were held up left and right by Aaron and Hur in the position of the outstretched arms of the Christ. The text plainly states his arms were held up on EACH SIDE, not over the head. Christ remained on the cross till sunset just as Moses remained true to the prophecy. Moses sitting on a rock is also important as that was in symbol of Christ relying fully on His Father (the Rock) for ALL SUPPORT as Christ was to willingly die for ALL THINGS.
Regarding your premise that the Christ and Satan both die on the same instrument of death:
2 Cor 6:14-16
For what do righteousness and wickedness have in common? Or what fellowship can light have with darkness? 15 What harmony is there between Christ and Belial? What does a believer have in common with an unbeliever? 16 What agreement is there between the temple of God and idols?
NOTHING. Not even the instrument of death.
At what point anywhere does any Bible writer refer to Satan as having ANY appearance of 'copper'? None. However, my Lord is described as having copper feet by TWO prophets, Daniel and John.
Snake = Satan, always has, always will.
At what point anywhere is Christ refered to as a snake on a pole? Copper is earthen. Both Satan and Christ became earthen as copper is. How so? Christ's feet touched the ground on His quest to salvage his earthen vessels. The serpents belly, which stems from it's head all the way to it's tail AS BEEN CONDEMNED to the earthen ground to eat the dust of the earth, as he is the perpetrator of earthen corruption. Copper. Satan from head to body. Christ, only his feet. Satan corrupted what's earthen. Christ's salvages what's been corrupted. Copper is earthen.

there IS, WAS and will ALWAYS be... 'law' against the 'acts of sinful nature'.
Rom 4:15
15 because law brings wrath. And where there is no law there is no transgression.
Rom 5:13-14
13 for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law.
Sin came first, law came second. Law is made for bad, bad has to exist first before law is mandated, as is stated in Romans 5. What is sin?
1 John 3:4
4...sin is lawlessness.
Sin is NO control. It is anarchic. Satan was anarchy. Law is the control. The out of control comes first because of the ABSENCE of law, the control of law comes second, because God is a God of order and peace.
For example, I ask you both... with regard to the angels... THAT SINNED, what 'sin' did they commit? What 'law' did they break?
That's that whole point friend. Sin is LAWLESSNESS. When sin breaks law it is called TRANSGRESSION or TRESSPASS. The angels sinned before law.
Rom 5:15
For if the many died by the trespass of the one man,
Adam broke the law, his sin was a tresspass. Adam was the first being created by God with law.
Rom 4:15
...law brings wrath.
That means ALL law. Even Adam's teensie law.
Once the law of the tree was in place, the wrath of God was imminent as Adam WAS GOING TO SIN and God knew it. That's what the law was for...to be broken.
For violating what 'law' was the serpent, Satan, cursed?
Lawlessness, Satan was cursed for anarchy and lawlessness. He was in the Garden of Eden, someplace he had no business in being. He thumbs his nose at the God of order, and brings disorder and chaos.
What 'bad' did God already KNOW... in order that if Adam and Eve ate from the Tree of Knowledge... they would become LIKE God?
God came to KNOW the resistor himself. God came to KNOW "bad/evil" for the first time from eternity. Bad, anarchy and chaos was CREATED by Satan, and became KNOWN to God and all in the heavenly realm, by Satan brining it into existence. Adam and Eve then came to KNOW Satan as God came KNOW Satan.
Indeed, AS I STATED TO YOU... there was no WRITTEN law, but there WAS... and still IS... 'oral' law. Adam and Eve were given an ORAL law, were they not?
There is only ONE kind of law. It is oral. It is written down when the law becomes so complex (Mosaic Law) that it could not be remembered. Adams first law was a mere single statement. Oral. That's all that was needed. Before Adam's first law, NO LAW. Love needs no law, and that's all there was before Satan. LOVE and order.
If there was no 'law', and the only 'law' was the WRITTEN law, how then could Joseph consider havin relations with Potiphar's wife a 'sin against God'? Was there a law setting forth 'sin'?
Jesus answered your question a long time ago ORALLY:
Matt 19:4-6
4 "Haven't you read," he replied, "that at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female,' 5 and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh'? 6 So they are no longer two, but one. Therefore what God has joined together, let man not separate."
Joseph would have violated the above. He knew that action as "sin" as it very well was, as defined from the beginning. Joseph would have violated God's "one flesh" arrangement. The second oral law from God.
What 'law' did Cain break in killing Abel?
Whatever God says is right and wrong becomes law:
Gen 4:7
But if you do not do what is right, sin is crouching at your door; it desires to have you, but you must master it."
Cain was told by God his evil intentions were sin BEFORE he did it. He broke the above law to "do what is right" and to "master" his sinful thought.
The rest of your post is confusing at best...

Someone also stated that there was no law in heaven. Actually, there WAS law in heaven
1 John 4:8
God is love.
1 John 4:16
God is love.
Creation before Satan:
Gal 5:22-24
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law.
Creation after Satan:
Gal 5:19-21
19 The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.
