Do you like to conform!

i have never liked conforming to anything, i suppose thats one of the reasons i left the borg,lost loads of jobs,didnt get on with my inlaws,hate paying tax,conforming to supposed higher authoritys,putting on false smiles.. think about it i went into a shop the other day and just because the so called big bosses were there all the staff i know there,wouldnt say a word to me due to the stupid fat bosses showing up there they supposedly were being respectful to them

that's supreme arrogance.. but in the last one hundred years, men of the watchtower have stepped forward and proclaimed that they not only clearly understand bible prophecy, but that they themselves clearly are bible prophecy being unfolded.. they are the latter day fulfillment of noah, abraham, moses, elijah, elisha, ruth, esther, naomi, isaiah, jeremiah, ezekiel, nahum, zephaniah, habukkuk, zechariah, john the baptist, the apostle john and the good parts of the revelation.

What is the truth?
by sleepy inwe spent so much time going on about "the truth" as witnesses , we thought we had the universe all sorted out .all those pillars of truth have now crumbled to dust.so what is "the truth"?.
that is , what is the correct understanding of life the universe and everything?.
how did the universe get here?what is conciousness and how does it work?is there a why or just a how?.

by haujobbz instupid question but why do we age, although scientists think it genetic, is it really why we age.. religion says its due to sin.. evolution says what on this subject.
its strange because many yearn for eternal life and thats probably why so many are attracted to religion.. i suppose it could be us wanting to survive, its still strange though because its such a waste .
im confused.

Well, your question was, "Why do we age?"
This isn't a question for agreement/disagreement, it is a question that signifies one of two things. Having an answer and baiting others with a question (this technique JW's similarly use on unknowing victims).
OR, you are truly looking for an answer to the question here on this forum.
To answer your question: That's the way God planned it, that's the way God wanted it to be.
I believe the real question should be: Why did He let it be this way. Of which only God can answer you.

I think the Bible is quite clear.
If God wants to, He'll save you.
Then on the other hand.
If God decides, He won't. It's all up to Him, it's always been that way.
It's all about what God wants of creation, not what creation wants of God.
Some people hate that.

by freedom96 inever notice how as a witness, you could not say "god" by itself.
always had to be preceeded by jehovah, or just say jehovah.
i remember my ex telling me that was the first sign that they knew i was on the way out, because i would refer to god simply as, "god".

Naw. I don't thing yer off base.
I think it's actually like that, only even better. I like to call the unseen God by what He wants me to call Him. Father.
I believe God's children call him Father, those who aren't His children call him a name.
I would never call my fleshly father by his fleshly name, I would never call my heavenly Father by a name that isn't even His.
