This is crazy.... What if you are older and don't even know how to use the internet???
WTB&T$, "F--- you brother/sister older. Either keep up with the chariot or get the hell off. We don't need "dead" weight slowing us glorious ones down."
has anyone seen this?
when did that happen?.

i bumped into a sister that i have known for at least 40 years or so.
we were catching up.
she and her husband have been in the truth for decades.
Just slightly off-topic, but what would the ELDubs do if, as a NON-JW, I were to partake of the grapejuice at their 'Memorial?'
That happened where I am a few years ago. A guy went up and sat in the eldurr/ms servers row. When the wine got to him he tossed off the whole glass full and then started gagging and spewing the wine back into the glass and yelled, "This is the worst goddam booze I have ever tasted!" as he jumped up, still gagging, and headed for the doors.
They had to stop serving long enough to empty, wash, and refill the glass. Too funny!

Exactly nailed. There have always been 2 classes!!! 2 always!!!!
The Heavenly Class the little flock.
The Earthly Class the great crowd.
At the risk of sounding argumentative there are actually three classes.
The heavenly "little flock" class. Those whom Jesus allegedly made a direct covenant with to rule in heaven with him, which could be a relatively small but limited number. (Figurative 144,000?)
The heavenly "great crowd". Those who are now claiming to be anointed and going to heaven as part of a final gathering. (A large but unspecified number)
The "Other Sheep" who profess to want to live forever on earth petting pandas, wearing suits and dresses, and never not smiling as they pick fruit in their dress up clothes.
This was, if I remember correctly, somewhat of a teaching in the twenties, that there were two classes of heaven-bound partakers.
All-in-all it is as a CO once said, "No matter how you slice baloney it is still baloney."

The Elders in the new Congo refuse to talk to him. One told her that her husband has no regard for "spiritual things".
That sounds about normal for these "loving" shepherds. My elderly father is the sole care-giver for my mother who is in very poor health now. The eldurrs in his congregation ignore them both now that they are not able to slave as hard as the eldurrs think good JDubya's should. Sick Richard Craniums!
they say ignorance is bliss... well, i wish that god did not give adam free will.
i am ok to not have free will if it means i will live forever in perfect paradisiac conditions.it has been explained that free will is a gift from god.
they say 'who would want to live life like a robot?
We've also been told that God gave us free will so that we would worship him because we choose to do so... not because we are forced to do it.
I've heard this more times than I can count. My response to that assertion now is, "If there was no professed hope of eternal life in a panda petting paradise, and mankind was just going to grow old, die, and rot into nothingness for eternity, would YOU still do exactly what you are doing now? Or would you live and enjoy your life now instead of hoping to live it later and just existing now?"
over the past few decades i've met many individual jws, but i've always been curious about the gb members themselves and about service at bethel.
first, do gb members fraternize with regular rank and file members or do they only sell out each other?
when i was a methodist, it didn't take me long to figure out that our minister and his wife were frequently invited to dinner, but i never heard of him actually inviting members to his house for dinner.
For the rebranding to succeed, the GB must enter the spotlight.
And so they have, with a vengeance. Just yesterday a "sister" was pontificating about how good it is that the GB has instituted JDubya Broadcasting (GBTV) where, "Every month we can see and hear the GB! Now we all can have a close personal relationship with them. Isn't that a loving provision for us to get to know them that they have made?"
I couldn't choke back the derisive snort of indignation. When asked why I replied, "Close personal relationship with them? That's a laugh. Just go up to one of them if you ever get the chance at a convention and call them by their first name and start telling them something very personal. You'll see in a hurry just how close and personal your relationship with them really is! They won't give a flip about you!"
i've noticed that each wt lesson really only has one or two points they want remembered.
normally they build up to these by about the third subheading.
this week's lesson though was different, the main point was insidiously made through an experience in the first paragraph:.
the best way the JW org has now found to keep its numbers up is to ‘harvest’ their own children.
I like the way you phrased that. Where I live some people try to "soften" the impact of animal reduction by saying the animals are 'harvested' instead of saying they are killed. WT kids are drug in early and young and then lovingly "killed" when they are DF'd or wake up and leave.

Yes, WT is subtly saying that to be a good example a parent should have their children baptized at a young age.
WT isn't always very subtle in there rush to sucker in the children early as I found in this quote:
*** w88 3/15 p. 15 pars. 21-22 Trust in Jehovah Leads to Dedication and Baptism ***
Why, attending the Pioneer Service School in the Bahamas recently was a ten-year-old baptized girl, the daughter of two full-time ministers!
22 In this regard. . .some parents are falling short. To what extent are they using ‘fire-resistant materials’ to build Christian personalities in their children? (1 Corinthians 3:10-15) First of all, doing so requires that the pure worship of Jehovah be the most important thing in the parents’ lives. Additionally, the parents must be heeding the fine counsel given at Deuteronomy 6:6, 7 and Ephesians 6:4. The result of this may be that the parents will need to restrain their children from getting baptized too early."
So we can see that if children not yet even old enough to have reached puberty are not being baptized it is THE PARENTS FAILURE. What a stupid load of horsesh-t that is!
maybe it is just me but when i read this paragraph all i could do is shake my head and wonder how i used to buy into this crap and how people don't wonder what the hell the writers are thinking'.
"imagine what life would be like if god did not have love for mankind.
we merely have to look at the awful history of this world with its human rulerships under its unloving and wrathful god, satan the devil.
The Watchtower God is the abusive, dead-beat husband who does nothing, yet loves to say, "You see what happens around here without me!! Well, do yah??! Things go to shit!! You would be nothing without me!! Now make me a sandwich!!"
"And remember, I LOVE YOU. And you had better damned well love me, and obey me or I will prove my love for you by KILLING YOU!"
2-go bag just needs lots of guns and bullets. . .
Actually I got a "talking" to from a Super JDub about the fact that my emergency supplies kit had two boxes of ammunition for my legally permitted, easy to carry semi-auto. I was told THAT wasn't trusting in Jah for protection. I asked why the would assume it was for protection? In my part of the US it is very sparsely populated. If one were to have to live of the land I will be eating wild game keeping my strength up, while the rest of the JDub's are eating grass and getting weaker.
The idea that a "go-bag' will protect you at Armageddon is just plain goofy!
And of course on the likely remote off chance some knuckle-head decides to use a natural disaster as an excuse to try to do bodily harm to me or my loved ones, well. . .
