Was 536 the Worst year in history
by pistolpete injws believe that today, the time we live in is the worst time ever in history.
i know cause i just had a jw tell me yesterday this was the case.
he pointed to covid, the russian-ukraine war, the high gas prices and the food shortage happening.

JWs believe that TODAY, the time we live in is the worst time EVER in history. I know cause I just had a JW tell me yesterday this was the case. He pointed to Covid, the Russian-Ukraine war, the high gas prices and the food shortage happening.
It couldn't be clearer that we are living in the Last days according to him.
But according to some historians, 536 was the worse time to be born. Plus there was no internet so I wouldn't be typing had I lived back then.

single, still live at home or heavily dependent on parents because they have measly jobs.

The whole “Spirituality” as currency mindset is terrible. I’ve seen HOT JW women with lesser men just because they were Elders
I guess humans are just prone to seeking some kind of status. In the Non-jw land it could be Rich-Tall-Handsome. In JW land it's being an elder and giving talks at conventions.
It's those who have figured it out that finding someone who loves you for YOU---- and not some imaginary Brad Pitt or Freddy Franz that have a change of a life long marriage.
That being said, neither SPIRITUALLY STRONG or RICH, TALL and HANDSOME guarantees a happy married life.
Perhaps being single, dating beautiful men and women, and going home to your own bed WITHOUT THE DRAMA, is the best option these days.

I’m in my mid 20’s but I’m noticing alot of sisters that are 35, 40 and just kind of lost. Single, still live at home or heavily dependent on parents because they have measly jobs. They substitute teach, drive school bus, etc. Waiting on a brother to come save them but for 95% of them it’s just not going to happen.
I also feel like the worst group affected by this are the ones that are average to slightly above average attractiveness. The really attractive sisters get snatched by 22 and the lesser attractive ones don’t mind getting with the fat creepy brother who can’t dress. Yet those ones in the middle think too highly of themselves to get with the fat creepy dude (as they should good for them) but there’s not enough even halfway decent brothers to go around. Especially after 35.
One day we tried to name a single brother over 35 that was totally normal and didn’t have major issues in the entire circuit. We couldn’t come up with one.
What’s worse is that when one does become available because of a divorce or death, they usually get taken off the market so quickly. One young elders wife died (it was extremely sad btw she was amazing person) while she was pregnant and I swear attendance started to double. Beautiful sisters by the 10’s showing up to see his public talks. He was married again within the year to Peruvian (she is gorgeous).
Anyway I feel bad for those single sisters getting older that really want companionship. If they don’t wake up, most will die alone as even less men stay in now than before.
If any on here have woken up, congrats and it’s not too late to find love.

To me, the most astonishing thing is not the crazy stories in the bible but---------the billions of people that have believed all those crazy stories, for thousands of years, of YHWH aka Jehovah, and still believe that Jehovah is a God of LOVE, KINDNESS, COMPASSION who is going to rescue them and give them ETERNAL LIFE.
Humans will believe anything!
That's one of the reasons why we are dealing with Black lives matter, Gender Identity, whites are racists, Watchtower, Scientology, the Catholic inquisitions, and all the atrocities throughout history.
It's because HUMANS BELIEVE ANYTHING YOU TELL THEM.
I would venture to say that out of 8 billion humans, only a fraction can see the bullshit.
What give that fraction of humans the ability to see through all this and live in reality??????

Is ACTIVISM destroying Christianity itself?

Humans throughout history have formed all kinds of activism. Starting way before Jesus Christ started his activism.
In modern time just the past hundred plus years you've had Native Americans advocate for their choice to live as their culture encourages, Women activism who fought to have voting rights--- to turning the justice system to work for them and against men, to Martin Luther King, to today's woke-ness activism, Black life matters, and much-much more.
I personally don't see the human race continue for much longer, thanks to the idiots who invented the Atomic Bomb.
It's only a matter of time before some craze lunatic, or "Human Error" starts a nuclear war and all that activism come to a quick stop.
In the meantime, work hard at getting all the enjoyment out of life that you can before it comes to a brutal end.
