  Well done sd7, on your comments and on the fact that you can be bothered to read this crap!

  It was good for a laugh though. It reminds me of my parents... my Dad has no time for his wife or 5 kids and 8 grandkids. He has a full time job and is PO. My Mum likes it like that as she doesnt have to see him much, except at meetings and she HATES sex so keeping my Dad busy is only good for my Mum.

  Although the bible does say if you cant look after your own family youre as good as useless to God anyway. Theyre so busy in everybody elses business that they have no time for anything else.

  Stupid Org expects so much sacrifice from people!!

  i like her videos about self-injury and other mental and physical problems, that could happened to young people.... she say that she is an active jw and regularly visit the meetings and go to service.. http://www.youtube.com/user/idranktheseawater.

  but... what can you say about her wearing and hair style?.

  it's cool, but it's "non-spiritual" style, not for "true" jw, isn't it ?!

  You have to watch her in 'tourettes syndrome on the bus' to see that she probably doesnt go to the KH or preaching, she swears uncontrollably and is using her offensive language problem as a social experiment to gauge peoples reactions.

  JWs would be telling her to hide in her home and keep her problem to herself.

  I think shes cool and quite funny but not a JW

  Actually even when shes able to control herself she drops the F*** bomb a few times.

  My husband, although Aussie, loves Bovril... an english spread a bit like marmite. He spreads it on toast and sandwiches. I dont like it but it works well for gravy.

  I love vegemite on toast with lots of butter. Its a concentrate so you only need a scraping for lots of flavour. A jar lasts us ages.

  My fav vegemite conconction is the new cheesymite, its vegemite mixed with cream cheese. Yummo! Even better on really fresh bread and butter.

  up till very recently, my two sons (one a jw and one, a non-jw) lived in the same community.

  the never-baptized son decided to move to a different u.s. state and within a few miles of my home i'm a df'd person as of 33 years ago.

  The witnesses here in Queensland Australia I know are buying caravans, stocking up on non-perishables and waiting for the call to 'head for the hills'. They are dead serious that the governing body will tell them when and where to run. So weird and cultlike.

  When they discuss this event they refer to a drama a few years ago when Gods people had to flee because Jerusalem was about to be destroyed but it took decades and they had to wait on Jehovah but some gave up and headed back home to their jobs and homes only to be destroyed. So I get the idea that they dont believe it will neccesarily be a quick camp-out.

  How can you trust the governing body with a decision like this when they have stuffed up so many times in the past?......CULT

  You are never really your own relaxed self as youre always waiting to be knocked back down to size. So you try and be someone youre not to fit in and not get in any trouble or make waves.

  Zordino said it all for me. I am 100% behind those comments.

  Depression and mental illness is huge because of the guilt and fear, guilt and fear... meeting after meeting. Very negative really. I also had to change some major judgemental issues I had of others and the huge mistrust of anyone 'worldly'.

  My parents required us to always be submissive so I have huge self esteem problems from always being the underdog, turning the other cheek, letting others think theyre right, not standing up for myself. Especially when it came to elders 'counselling' me on matters of dress, conduct and friendship/relationships when I knew I wasnt doing anything wrong. Usually the elders kids were doing the same things anyway.

  But in the end all the BS pushed me away and now I know TTATT. Yay!!

  Theres gonna be a hell of a lot of 'you cant do this, and you cant do that' going on on that weekend!!

  I feel so sorry for the poor young people dragged along to that crapfest! Im so glad my kids are out of that lifestyle.

  I took my 8 yr old to a concert last night and after 1/2hr of thoroughly entertaining music which he was enjoying he just couldnt keep still any longer. It was in the same place our conventions are held and it made me think about how I used to make him sit through 3 days of that total BS!

  I had trouble seeing how Prov 6:20 " observe o my son the commandments of your father, and do not forsake the law of your mother." Really pointed to the FDS as being mother. Theyre so weird.

  Billy that was hilarious. I couldnt believe what id just said when I said it out loud. ROFL

  before the mentally diseased apostates could get their hands on and dissect any information regarding the convention that hadn't been released to regular publishers/elders...the society released the district program on the official site completely and utterly slaying every single demented apostate on the face of the earth.

  now have fun dissecting it kiddos, while we big kids get a taste of solid, spiritual meet this summer.

  continue drowning in misery while god's people go on rejoicing and enduring these last days.

  Something about ner ner ner ner ner gives me the creeps.

  He/she is no doubt carefully checking all posts. In fact this thread so far has been viewed 1545 times.... 1300 of those were probably 'ner-ner'. the hateful, judgemental attitude just jumps off the page! So JW like of them!!

  Enjoy wasting your time, effort, money and life at the convention, I'll be sleeping in and going to the beach with my family without a care in the world cause I know its all a load of BS and my conscience has been cleaner for leaving that stupid cult!.... Jealous much?
