yes Bible prophecy interpretation will by nature involve speculation. Man does not live of bread alone (the tangible stuff) but certainly when WT and other dispensationalists says prophecy depending on your life is still future they should be more honest about their bending of Matt 23:34

A full preterist would be someone who consistently believes all Bible prophecy has been fullfilled, in most cases by AD 70 (but as there is at least 30 kinds of full preterism, a few rare kinds use other datemarks). If you believe almost all prophecies have been fullfilled, that would make you a strong or partial preterist. I consider myself a strong preterist. This view obviously rejects Bible literalism, there is a strong emphasis on symbolism and a rejection of double fullfilment theory

Yes it is the heritage from Russell. Adam is turned into a perfect all knowing man, he blew it on behalf of all of us and so we all get a chance of returning to his pre fall stand, except the ones who will be like God and (Rutherford's addition) those who did not want to remain or become JWs.
Remember we are supposed to be so ashamed of being white, that we cant think straight and see all the racism of the other races. I tell people straight up the white race has in certain cultural and technological senses been the light of the world, but nothing is perfect here

It was quite understandable that they were focused on the restoration of their Jewish kingdom. That this was also the great gentile hope is however an invention of Russell and other restorationists. Notice in the same book Acts 28:28 salvation had been send to the gentiles. Will God restore earthly Israel? Well a minority of Preterists believe that. In Universalism, the restoration of earthly Israel is sort of the icing on the cake. However in Russellism, the salvation of earthly Israel is linked to the ultimate salvation of the bulk of gentiles. I dont see that

True, Christ reigned from that Matt 28:18. His kingdom is within us Luke 17:21. The restorationists like Russell would ask well what about all the evil church history, does that not nullify his kingdom. We can answer the meditorial reign goes on while men also rule. It was not postponed to 1914 or yet future.

Very good point. Ever since the Ascension, Christ had a Kingdom with saints living in it. Colossians 1:13. The new heavens and earth
in a recent effort to entice me back to meetings, an elder friend gave me the example of his dad.. he said that his pioneer/elder/ex-missionary dad went through the anticipation and disappointment of 1975 and yet, he kept going faithfully for decades afterwards.
the obvious point was that, if his dad can deal with disappointment, then, surely a nobody like me could do the same in regards to the scrapping of the 1914 generation doctrine, and all the other changes.
his 'encouragement' was to tell me that it was only me that felt like this, everyone else is fine and have no problems with the changes.
I remember my dad often when considering doubt with old jw friends often said, well who else could possibly have the truth? I know No other. They were all woefully ignorant even of resembling groups. My father never got to use the internet despite formally being better educated than me. Clearly the internet has changed everything. Before the internet, a lot of knowledge was only avaible to specialists working in the particular field. The learned contempt for the English wiki is related to that issue
