Are Elders prepared to take the fall for WT/GB misdemeanor's / crime ??
by smiddy3 ini have been thinking about this in relation to the directive given to elders to destroy any incriminating evidence they may have either on their pc`s ,e-mails , private notes in their possession, or notes in their witnessing bags ,etc.
to do with child sexual abuse they may still have in their possession.. isn`t that encouraging the elders to interfere with the justice system ?.
to break the law?.

Their days are definitely numbered. But that doesn't mean that they won't be around for a significant time into the future. Two decades ago when the WT stats said that there were 6m JWs worldwide, everyone was saying that they were running on fumes and that all growth was from children born to JW parents. The figure is 8m now, which surprised me greatly.
IMO, the dark lord is dead, he just hasn't shown the good grace to lie down yet.

Treatment of Those Trying For Reinstatement
by Vanderhoven7 inwhat happens when a jehovah’s witness who has been disfellowshipped returns to attending the meetings again?.
mark jones writes:.
if it's the same congregation that they previously attended then, yes, the congregation will remember who they are and so continue to treat them as dead or invisible.. one of the identifying marks a cult is that it uses shame and humiliation to control members, to keep them from leaving and manipulating those who escaped into coming back.. a disfellowshipped person is never allowed to quietly leave with dignity.

The trouble with WT disfellowshipment rules is that they treat all "sin" equally. At the end of the day, the only sin which really harms the org is questioning them. The other sins, like a one off one-night stand, might be embarrassing to those involved, but quick repentance and forgiveness might create a more grateful and gung-ho witness in the long run. Much as I dislike Catholicism, they at least differentiate between "mortal" and "venial" sins. JWs could classify everything specifically against the org as particularly heinous and harder to walk back and be a little more lenient about stuff that is common to all humanity.

I agree with Diogenesister that it may be unwise to allow TM3 to be doxxed. If he's done something wrong, then it is up to the proper authorities to track that down and prosecute him properly. Publishing information that could expose him to a lynch mob of vigilantes is not way to go.

Obvious OT Exception to the Two Witness "Rule"
by NotFormer inin the torah, where the need for sanctuary cities is being established, a hypothetical situation is described where a bloke is swinging an axe, and the axe head flies off and kills another bloke.
the dead man's brother is designated "the avenger" and pursues the original guy in order to kill him for being responsible for the death.
he is allowed to do so, if the original guy doesn't make it to a sanctuary city.

Is the fact that Ted Jaracz weaponised the two witnesses rule to apply mainly in CSA cases a clue as to what he may have done to have been removed from the Australian branch? No-one seems to know what it was that he did, but it does look like, with the benefit of hindsight, that there are dots that can be connected.
Was the heavy enforcement of the two witnesses rule in CSA cases Jaracz's revenge upon his victims? If CSA had been on law enforcement's and society's radar in the 50s as it became in later decades, would Jaracz have ever made it to the same levels within the org that he did?

The insistence on loyalty to the org against obedience to the government makes me think of the mob. Perhaps one day governments will stop letting them hide behind the religious freedom rules, and classify them as the criminal organisation that they are. And yes, if they are giving orders to destroy documents that can leave a trail in future criminal investigations, then they are a criminal organisation. If it quacks, waddles and looks like a duck...

St George, the whole thing is a conundrum. 🤔 If he did something easily proven to be reprehensible, it shouldn't be hard to get rid of him. Unless it is some dumb question of ego: that they can't admit that the process may allow flawed characters onto the GB. Which then could cast doubt on any other GB member. And we couldn't possibly have that, could we!? 🙄
The other possibility is one that has already been suggested, that TM3 has enough knowledge about where the bodies are buried, that it is worth the GB's while to protect him and cover for him. If that's what is going on, the smoking gun must be enormous! 😱

Regarding the sheep pooh, I think that you are thinking of a "dagg" which is literally what you said, encrusted sheep pooh hanging onto a sheep's fleece. The New Zealand comedian, John Clarke, became famous in NZ as a character named "Fred Dagg". He had a hit in NZ with a version of Billy Connolly's "If it Weren't for Your Wellies", but being NZ, it was "If it Weren't for Your Gumboots". So yes, a dagg is a pretty low class, scruffy individual, probably with bad hygiene! 😁
A drongo is a bird native to North Australia; the slang term had pretty well the same meaning as "nong". 😁 I doubt that the bird was particularly stupid; the term probably came about just because it sounds kind of dumb. 😸
I believe there is some of Fred Dagg's stuff preserved on YouTube. He was a pretty funny character. John Clarke eventually moved to Australia, like a lot of NZ entertainers, because the NZ market tends to be a bit small.
