Are car groups still likely to be a thing? Have they been a thing since COVID?

Did Anyone Have Fun With Their Field Service Reports?
by NotFormer innow that there is new light on reporting hours in field service, it's raised a few questions for me, who was never in the jws.
did any of you ever have fun with the field service report slips, by finding creative ways of reporting time without raising suspicions in those who oversaw the collection of those slips?.
also, can anyone upload an image of what the slips looked like, or point me to a post that gives uploaded examples of the sort of paperwork that was familiar to jws in good standing?.

by NotFormer inwith the change to reporting field service and now allowing people to repent during the gt, presumably up until armageddon, i'm assuming that the "hailstones" message is now permanently on hold.

The change from paper to digital must have been huge to most JWs. Is there a thread about it from the time it was implemented?

Real reasons behind this change?
by Gorb injust a good conversation at home about the hour report change.. we think the change was not impmemented because the gb are such a lovely bunch of old grandpa's having the best in mind for us individuals.. there will be only, and we say only, an organizational reason for it.
a legal reason, to protect jw.org and it's officials and wealth.. next step?
maybe selling more kh and when jw hollywood studio's in rampoo are ready a change to tv subscription.. what do you think?

If donations are now, or about to become, the focus, should we be expecting the GB to release further "new light" ? About a new donation arrangement, perhaps?

JWs and Conscription/ Military Service
by NotFormer inmatthew 5:41 (nwt) "...and if someone in authority compels you into service for a mile,* go with him two miles.".
a member of the roman occupying forces could command a local to carry their pack for a mile.
the local was thus pressed into a form of military service.

If a government requirement is imposed, Jesus said do more of it. Stop defending your evil organisation! They now allow service in lieu, but sent people to jail and gave them criminal records before they changed their idiotic minds.

"b) …as clients go, they’re gettin’ kinda toxic."
Is there there such a thing as a legal firm that is too moral to take on certain cases??

Carrying a Roman soldier's pack for a mile recognises an obligation to the military. Were roles directly supporting the military the only ones offered "in lieu"? Your either/or dichotomy is false. Non-combatant roles that support the military aren't the only options. In most countries, civilian service in lieu can be things like building roads or working in national parks or community service in general. For the most part, no different from working in a country's civil service/public service; a government job.
The WT unnecessarily forced it's loyal followers to become criminals based on its unbiblical false logic.
