Prepare to get Pelted by Symbolic Hailstones
by raymond frantz inhttps://youtu.be/idhmflud3p4?si=9xc4svrhxslduwvz.
so david schafer a member of the teaching commitee and a helper to the governing body has come out yesterday with a new video that goes through the king of the north, the hailstones message and other things in the wake of the possibility of a ww3 and especially now that tensions are escalating with russia so he is making quite a few end time arguments and i will be expanding on those one by one but today let's see what he has about the hailstones message of the end(video) so this is the paragraph in question, paragraph 14 from article 20 of the watchtower 2020 study edition: "sometime after the start of the great tribulation, “the kings of the entire inhabited earth” will form a coalition of nations.

I imagine that widows and orphans were far down the pecking order. 🙄

From my discussions with Mormons, Pepsi is fine*. It's another one of those points where a high control religion demonstrates inconsistency. We outsiders see their prohibition of tea and coffee and logically project that it is a prohibition on caffeine. So, back in the day when the Mormon church supposedly owned PepsiCo**, I brought it up and they said "So what?" The prohibition by JS himself is not on Pepsi, but on tea and coffee alone. Apparently the Mormon church is not bound by the "ejusdem generis" principle. Mormons can happily knock back Pepsi by the gallon. We outsiders might wonder if there's any cognitive dissonance going on, but they're right: Pepsi isn't tea or coffee.
* If anyone knows better, let me know
** Probably an urban myth of the time

Suing the WT would probably only work to bring them down if you had deeper pockets than them.

Rattigan succeeded in making this thread about himself.
To the WT, having fun is "worldly". Christmas lights are fun, therefore worldly. 🙄

Who Directs the Activitie$ and Doctrines of the Hovering Body?
by Sea Breeze injehovah’s witnesses boast that theirs is a “spirit-directed organization”.. see w88 3/1 pp.
10-17 (my life in jehovah’s spirit-directed organization).
they believe that their deceased founder, charles taze russell (who faced legal action by his wife for inappropriate behavior in his maids bedroom), is directing the modern-day work of jehovah’s witnesses.. after the founder, c t russell died, it was stated that he was still directing the work from heaven.. "though pastor russell has passed beyond the veil, he is still managing every feature of the harvest work.

Vanderhoven7, I wanted to upvote your post, but that photo and the reference to future kings makes me feel ill 🤢.
Edited to add: I held my nose and upvoted anyway.

I am currently out of my usual town. Before this trip, I read a few references on here to the JW.org symbol being on all things WT and thought that that must be being overstated. Then I went on this current trip. I've seen way more Kingdom Halls than I expected. And what struck me was how odd and out of place that JW.org sign looks on all of them.
I saw a Christmas wreath somewhere and had the inspiration of combining the two symbols. What would a JW in field service think if he saw their symbol in a Christmas wreath?

Good to see that the spirit of Tony is still directing things* from the bottom of whatever watery grave he ended up in**.
* In advance: I know he was removed from the GB and that this is an old image.
** Referring to speculation by some on the "Where's Tony?" thread that Tony is sleeping with the fishes.
