i was really trying to sneak in here...but, it's only right to say "hi" and make a brief introduction.
glad to be here.
i just want to say that i apologize in advance for anything i might say from here on out.
The Devo song is interesting. The thesis of DEVO was that civilization was stripping us of the need to be anything more than blind response mechanisms subject to swift and efficient manipulation by centralized authority. Bravo Ms. Whip on having the strength and fortitude to leave...uppity wimminz unite!

*Theo's head floating out to sea* ..Theo! .. THEO!!! GBL
LOL, too funny...in a series of Tom Hanks references by GBL, the first was his running out of the hall Forrest Gump style. - Preston

I'd use the carcass to build a raft Tom Hanks-style via Cast Away, and then I would use the head as a wilson volleyball.

my wife has been struggling with her weight since the birth of our children.
she's done every fad diet and always gives up.
now she's turned to phentermine, a controlled substance for weight loss.
at least the rural folk had the green and blue they had always known, their fall cushioned by the dewy grass, onlookers nothing but nature itself.
there is a kind of fulfillment to go that way, to die as one lived, the soil's fool, in the softness that humanity craves at the end.
the city dwellers had no such comfort at the last; their end would be filthy and harsh, we knew it, we who had seen the wickedness that their spaces had bred.
I dare say Pepheuga,
You are a literary genius, you should write, maybe go on elance or see who could use your mad, MAD writing skillz. Interestingly your story portrays well the horror of the possibility of the Bible being true. it reminded me of The Rapture with Mimi Rogers.

i have been thinking about this because of another post where the question asks have any of us ever been blackmailed to stay in the watchtower organization.. no, i won't say i was blackmailed; however, after i wrote my note of disassociation, the congregation overseer wanted to visit me in my home with two other elders.
i repeatedly said no, that i would not allow them to chastise me in my own home.
therefore, all of my conversations were over the phone with the overseer.
After my last df'ing, another "bad association" and I taped the record "Short People" to his front door!!!

ladies,.
in preperation for a class i'll be taking starting next month entitled "history of love, sex and marriage" i would like to probe your heart's desire to find out the 5 biggest turn on's and 5 biggest turn off's you find in men.
and well, hell, i also would just like to add to my general knowledge.
All men are THAT intent...except for the gay guys.
U/D blew our cover....
BTW...erm...I'm kinda surprised none of you ladies mentioned "good weenie" in the top 5, even after 5 pages.....something amiss...

the last few weeks of meetings for me were pure hell.
i got a cold sweat sometimes and just sat there fantasizing about running forest gump style out of the kingdom hall.
i was getting "encouraged" to comment more too and i just physically could not audibly promote that crap in public anymore.
For weeks afterward the doors entering and exiting the hall were both locked and guarded during all meetings by young MS's and elders. There was also a lot of nervous peeking out the windows everytime a car was heard to drive by.
Damsel, it would of been too embarassing for them to say "we're concerned that an erstwhile witness would be whisked away by their lover if they perchance left in the middle of the meeting, so if you decide to leave please maek sure you do so after the meeting is over." I think the LOL part of the whole thing is that they assumed that "posting guards" would keep them safe and that they wouldn't skip town...oh I don't know, before the meeting, after, at home, after school, etc, etc, etc.....
