Yea, for all those who are still in, just accepting that you are not doing the things you do because you believe it, but only because its something to do, and its not like you are killing some one... Just accepting it as a way of life, Lauging at the stupid things, and taking up the life lessons you learn inside to improve your own life, and that of the people around you. No one ever died because they had a self sacrificing spirit.... Oh... Wait.... ( haha but you know what i mean)

When Jw's use that argument that jehova is waiting, because he doesn’t want any one to be killed, I usually ask them

Me : Ohhh, reaaaly? REaaaaaly? Then why after a thousand years will JEHOVAH release Satan to kill PERFECT people AGAIN..If he doesnt want any one to be killed

Me : Can Satan still win the "divine argument"? No... Oh, so why let him loose again?

Smart person : Yea but they need to be tested one last time

Me : I’m sorry, are you hearing yourself? Why The hell would you want to do that for? What does that have to do with the issue if it has already been won/lost

Apostates and the Holy Spirit

i've heard elders say more than once that if the congregation isn't productive, there is probably an apostate in the midst; since the holy spirit doesn't seem to be upon the congregation.

Moses had to share his Holy spirit with those other guys who were going to help him (guess coz there weren’t enough to go around)

And yet there’s enough Holy spirit left in the bones of a dead body (think Elijah or someone) to resurrect a dead guy who touched it (thrown onto his bones)...

Full time ministry Joy--or Lack Thereof

i can remember all the while i was in the cancer that they would trump up the value of pious-sneering.

one of those was the "joy" of serving jehovah full time.

they would always have these fantastic stories about how they had obstacles that they foolhardily disregarded, or that they got all these people into the cancer.. this is full of rubbish.

wow lostinthought... i really thought i was the only one feeling like that...

They deleted me about 5months ago from being a ministerial servant because i almost stopped doing Fs,,, maybe 1hour a month. Until the day i had to go to university when the CO was there and i missed their secret meeting... That following weekend i got deleted (in secret of Corse, they still have to send a letter to the "Organization" to tell them I’m deleted, then they tell everyone you aren’t one any more)

So any way, I’m still in cause it SUCKS BALLS trying to get out... Especially if you like some one in the cong.... but i think I’ll kill myself if I have to go to the Cong for the rest of my life!.. i dont think i can take allot of this anymore... So far, im just holding out…

Why do you Still believe in a god?

if i may ask, for those on this site, who still believe in a god in their own way... why do you still believe in a god?.

since every thing in the bible can be shot down with reason, why would you still believe in a god?.

I don't think this is a true statement

(I’ll talk about that statement now)

Because if one can believe something he/she cannot prove, like believing in their own personal deity outside of the bible, or even within the bible, then one can JUST as well stay or become one of JW since the truth doesn’t matter then. It then just comes down to your own personal preference.

As regards to the statement above let me add that all the Logical aspects can be shot down

- History shows that people’s age increases not decreases as it is said in the bible (or derived from)

- The great flood. How did Noah get the Kangaroo’s and polar bears (from other countries) in there? and even if he did, You want to tell me that from EVERY ONE that saw all these animals walking side by side into an ark, NO one thought by themselves.. Oh crap... yea maybe that’s not normal, let’s get on. (So i call fake)

- For me to have everlasting life was just a matter of chance in which era i was born... if i was born in Moses's time i would get stoned if i disobeyed my parents. Now i can be forgiven, not once but 7 but 7 times 77 times, oh what luck for me, that i wasn’t born when god wasn’t on a hateful rampage.

- Why isn’t god doing anything to the circumstances of today? "Oh yea the bet between god and Satan" Well.... Didn’t Satan lose in Lots time.... oh yea... god proved Satan was wrong... sooooo... why is the bet still on?

-Why did Adam and eve realize they were naked? Was there something wrong with being naked?? Did the all-powerful god create humans with the idea that to be naked is bad, and then just hid it form them till they ate form the tree? (I call bullshit)

-If god tells me to not paint my face red, and someone else paints my face red while i sleep (so i don’t allow it, nor do i know it’s happening) HOW could god hold me responsible for something i did not do -- Relate that to the story of Simpson whose hair was cut off

- How could Jesus have told Judas that he would betray him? Didn’t Jesus in effect take Judas's Free will away?
