  Does anyone know about ADD in adults?

  i really need some help guys.

  my youngest son is getting married in 3 weeks to a really annoying .

  young woman, 22. she has add and talks all the time!!

  Hi! Can I join in the fun? I think Jan is right on with the self esteem thing. Except she knows she has a high IQ and therefore thinks she has the right to tell us all how to do everything. She doesn't realize a high IQ doesn't mean naturally full of knowledge. It's amazing though, that nothing fazes her. Last summer she was doing a little lesbian bashing and my cousin pointed out that her sister was a lesbian and it didn't stop her, she just kept right on bashing. I was in shock. Mulan sent her to the store to get rid of her. I really wish we could stop this wedding but I think any interference would make him all the more resolved to marry her. I've been trying for two years to like her and like Venice said, you just cringe when she comes in the room.

  Mom, I think we are stuck with her. I like the "in your face" thing that was mentioned earlier. "I will let you know when I am done talking". Might work. I'm going to try it.

  Should I Do It ??? I Think I Will.

  i have been working on my letter to our local congregation to dis-associate myself.. since my wife is still very active in the non-truth and she also insist that i write this letter, i believe i will take her congregation address and telephone list and send my letter with all the facts about the wbts history of lies and send everyone in the congregation my letter via certified mail.

  it would probally set me back a few hundred bucks but i think it would be well worth it, what do you think??

  I totally agree with Mulan too. (She trained me that way...haha) We are very open about celebrating the holidays, lots of lights and a big tree at Christmas, etc. They don't do a thing but I know that they are very aware of it. Since we just did the FA, when we run into the witnesses they are confused and really don't know what to do. Kind of fun, love to watch them squirm. Of course they mostly just shun us in their confusion which is fine by me.

  Why play by their rules? If we wrote a letter now, they would be so relieved. I just can't make it easy for them. I like it this way.

  in chat, people have asked if she is pretty, and i say she is.

  she also looks just like me, but thinner, and prettier.

  I think that since it took them 6 1/2 years to come to you with questions, you should have 6 1/2 years to supply the answers.

  Billygoat, my mom's cousin avoided the elders when they tried to call and set up a meeting and they df'd her anyway. No meetings, no questions. Mulan knows the details.

  so i asked,,,,what is your current standing with the jw's, are you d/f or d/a, and how can you account for your association with mother (which she has publically acknowledged),,.

  Funny story about VeniceIT

  by popular demand, i am yielding to pressure, to tell a story about our very own veniceit.. in march, venice and her parents were visiting us here in washington state, and we all had dinner at our daughter's home one evening.

  (my daughter posts here as princess) princess's son, 4 years old, was quite taken with venice and was showing her around the house.

  he was going up the stairs ahead of her, and turned around, face first at her rather, ummm, er, ample?

  I have JW's staying with me...help!

  i have had my jw cousin and his wife and three children staying at my house since sunday.

  i thought i'd just share a few experiences with you all.. my husband and i are marveling at the numerous compromises they have made since coming here to washington state from wisconsin.

  they are here to visit his disfellowshipped mother who has cancer.

  This morning I asked my cousin about the convention focusing on socializing with apostate family members and he said he wasn't really listing. So I asked if that is why his wife wasn't talking to me and spent all her time downstairs and he said "I don't know".

  They truly deserve to be jw's. Keeping the intelligence level down among the borg and raising three more little stupid darlings to knock on doors.

  a philosophy professor stood before his class and had some items in front of him.

  when the class began, wordlessly he picked up a large empty mayonnaise jar and proceeded to fill it with rocks, rocks about 2" in diameter.. he then asked the students if the jar was full.

  I love it! I was thinking about how this really applied to me right now with two small children and despicable house guests (another thread). I need to focus on what really matters. Then I read the ending about the beer and realized how perfect it is. I brewed a batch two weeks ago with my dad and we are going to bottle it tomorrow.

  Hi Venice! I enjoyed your post. I remember the really empty feeling of suddenly having no friends. When we were on our way out Steve and I went to a convention to see Mulan and dad in a drama! HA! We both felt like outsiders, it was the strangest feeling and I'll never forget it.

  Looking forward to August when I will be very careful not to give you any stories to post.
