  Proof of Noah's Flood - Presently watching a Documentary about Europe & the Ice Age

  first time i ever heard anyone say there was 'proof' of noah's flood.. very interesting,.

  showed a trawler, where the team dredges regularly in the north sea - for animal bones, massive land animal bones, mammoths.. he said, originally, the bones were sent for analysis, and the dr stated, they were proof of noah's flood.. the north sea area was a land mass of dry grazing lands.

  and it was very similar to africa.. many bones were found in london, of lions, hippos, etc ... when they were digging out the underground.. .

  i constantly read that having faith is the answer to knowing that god (or in most cases, jesus) exists.

  but to me it's quite clear there are serious difficulties in believing the bible.. adam and eve.

  What proof have you got for anything Jesus did ? Basically we have four authors who could very well be making stuff up. THey make extraordinary claims we know never happened, eg the zombies walking about Jerusalem after jesus died in Matt.

  Exactly, they are reserving the blue jeans for the GB. Since everyone else is not as special they cant wear blue. Colour has often been used to mark different classses of people. Look at the Roman church for another example, only the pope is white, cardinals red etc.

  The OT i believe reserves a blue fringe for the high priests. im not sure if the watchtower is somehow equating jeans and the frilly dresses of these priests, but anyting is possible. Certainly the holy aspect of blue in this case appears to be telling. The flag of Israel is also blue on white for probably similar reasons.

  Perhaps they are making a statement that only the high priests aka them are allowed to be special enuff for blue.

  mp, nice trick. Before anything will begin to grow the next rain storm will have washed your experiment away. Life will grow, even on the side of sheer rock cliffs.

  MP:

  Remember you have to salt the ground on a level comparable to the salt left away when you have 8km of sea water above it. Given salt is over 1% of the content of sea water, that would mean crusts tens of meters thick or maybe more. It will have to rain for thousands of years to wash away that much salt.
