What happened to Armageddon ? Why bother planning for the future if Armageddon is around the corner. Surely the borthers can wait a few months or a year or two.

by St George of England ina letter was read tonight at the meeting with this information.. apparently, three years ago the gb authorised the uk bethel to consolidate all the uk resources.
so far over 300 sites have been looked at but more information will be forthcoming.. in the meantime we can work to this end by saving so that we can contribute to the new facility.. also skilled and unskilled trades people can register for volunteer work, collect an application form from the secretary.. to me it seems like they are going to move out of london (mill hill, bittacy hill etc), get a cheaper area, pay for the new facility with donations and free labour.
they will then sell all the high value property and probably send the money to the us.

It's obvious Jesus paid the tax so as to " not cause offense". Not because it was the "right" thing to do, or because they were enthusiastic about it.

Jesus is stating that the jews should pay tax to the Romans and this is repeated multiple times, because tax is more important than condemning slavery, sexism ,racism and more. Rome must have their tax, why would Jesus care about the other stuff.
If you check your history you will find the Romans imposed a tax in the mid 60s for the temple, and this caused great offence. Eventually the high priest got killed and the war was on. Jesus was making this statement to keep the peace, and because he was a Roman stooge. By paying the tax Jesus was selling our his own jewish people and siding with the Romans and the quest for money via taxation.

How do we know Satan was evil?
by truthhurts13 ini believe a good judge would have to hear both sides of the story before making a final judgment.
however, i don't ever recall hearing satan's side of the story in the bible.
i remember only 3rd party hearsay evidence (which is not evidence).

The main ones are. All religion can imho be summarised as fertility concerns. The anceints needed to know the seasons and were happy when spring started, worried about dying in winter, preparation for the cold following autumn etc. The big holidays match these concerns and worries.
For fun, feel free to counter this.
Eg the hebrew word for holy is also directly related to prostitution which is of course fertility. Circumcision is but one of hte many penile concerns of Judaism.

by yaddayadda inthe society in appendix 1a of their 'kingdom interlinear translation of the christian greek scriptures' refers to nine other greek manuscripts as containing the divine name, and they quote from jerome as referring to certain 'greek volumes' containing the tetragrammaton.
can anyone shed any light on what these greek manuscripts and volumes are and their dates of writing?

You can read the oldest complete bible online at codexsinaticus.org. Its from the early 4th century and guess what no Jehovah in the NT or Christian anywhere, or Jesus in the OT.
I put it to you someone somewhere smashed two completely difference religions into one book. Christians have been struggling ever since to explain or ignore the contrasts between the two.
