Most thinking persons know that the Freemasons, (a universal organization run by aliens) have control over much of humanity, including the Governing Body of Jehovah's Witnesses. Of course, the Society creates a smokescreen and denies this fact. They are only doing what they are told by these spiritual hosts of wickedness, who are able to hide the truth of their existence from certain less intelligent humans. (Ephesians 6:12)

Java: you are correct. This prophecy was covered over in future reprints of this article. Note the explanation from AlanF on the H20 site:
The apostle Paul was spearheading the Christian missionary activity. He was also laying a foundation for a work that would be completed in our 20th century. The Watchtower, January 1, 1989, p. 12
Which words are not clear? The preaching work would be completed in our 20th century. No interpretation is necessary.
This material was written by one Gene Smalley of the Writing Staff. Smalley also happens to be the Bethel Librarian. He is known among Bethelites as a real ding-dong and an extremely nasty, unpleasant person. Smalley managed to get appointed in the early 1990s as a "Given One" largely because of his dishonest, bootlicking ways and his willingness to intellectually prostitute himself to various Governing Body members. Smalley was called on the carpet for writing this faux pas in The Watchtower. It got past the Governing Body because the sharper GB reviewers happened to be out of town during the regular review process, and the only one left was virtually senile. Given that the GB in principle ok'd the material, there wasn't much the GB could later say to Smalley.
You don't believe this stuff? Call Bethel yourself and verify it. Then report back here what you found.
After the dust settled, the Society changed the phrase "in our 20th century" to "in our day" in the bound volumes.

are you sitting down?........PRINCE is a JW!!!!!
by lisaBObeesa inhello all, registered just to post this and see what you all had to say about this.
i, for one, am in shock.
it was anounced today on "extra" and they said we would soon see a change in his music because he was "marrying his music to his religion.

You left out the track "Darling Nikki" which celebrates masturbation! A definate JW no-no. Prince would have to disown most of the work he has ever done. He loves $money too much to do that, as he proved in his recent Jay Leno interview in which he said that Mariah Carey got ripped off for signing an eight million dollar record contract.

DF Promotion
by Stephanus inall this stuff about dfing and the repentance shown by those who want to get back in and the contempt shown towards them by the flock thereafter got me thinking: is this always the case?
can a reinstated df ever be promoted?
could they ever reach elder or higher?

This is true. Even those who are in "adulterous marriages" (meaning those who married after divorce not on the grounds of fornication) according to the elders manual, are sometimes promoted to higher positions in the congregation. Of course, this is only done in remote hillbilly areas where there are no other options.

I just saw TAFKAP (the artist formerly known as Prince and then a symbol for his name and then back to Prince again) on Jay Leno the other night. There is no way he is a Witness. All of this is B.S. I can see the Society sponsoring the 1999 song, but once that prophecy didn't pan out, Prince probably would have been disfellowshiped. If Prince is a JW, Michael Jackson is Michael the Archangel! Word 2 your mother.

Using this math then, the Society owes me over eighty thousand dollars!
total lifetime hours spent in field service x $5.15 = how much the Society owes YOU!

P.S. According to my calculations, if the Society had to pay everyone the U.S. minimum wage for just ONE YEAR of field service, it would cost them $6,180,000,000. (six billion, one hundred eighty million U.S. dollars).

Now don't you feel silly! You have been going out in service and counting time for no reason!
Furthermore I urge all brothers and sisters to hold the Society legally accountable for fraud and breach of contract! Our contract clearly stated the limits of our obligations to the Society. We have now fulfilled our contract! Also, we were promised a paradise earth to arrive by a certain time. Furthermore, said paradise did not arrive on any of the promised dates. Therefore, all baptisms and any vows to the organization are hereby null and void for the reason that they were initiated under false pretenses! The Society should therefore be compelled to cease and desist, to relinquish their authority over all brothers and sisters, to restore all families, and to immediately bring to an end the persecution and defamation of any and all ex-members. In addition, since the Society has kept such a concise monthly record of the time each member has worked for them in good faith, each member should demand back pay for all hours reported, at a hourly rate no less than the current minimum wage.
The first step is to STOP GOING OUT IN FIELD SERVICE TODAY!

Thanks! That's the info I needed. Does anyone have the final say on matters? Is it this Ted Jaracz fellow? I've never heard of him.
