  Do you care that you offend JW's?

  Sometimes the truth hurts, but it still must be stated. Jehovah's Witnesses that I know have a nice way of sugar-coating their words and they pass it off as tact. I am less concerned with what someone thinks of ME personally then I am with someone being presented with the plain facts. If someone thinks I'm an asshole because I told them something they needed to hear, I can live with that. As a Jehovah's Witness I would have been more concerned about how a situation made ME look.

  a female friend of mine once told me that many women find it necessary to flirt with a man the first time they meet him, even if there is no real attraction.

  the reasoning is that a man will never pay attention to a woman unless there is a sexual interest first.

  a moment ago i was sitting here typing a post and all the while i kept hearing a polite little "meow" from one of my cats every ten or twenty seconds.

  after submitting the post i looked down to pet the cat and to my horror its tail was under one of the wheels of my chair.

  Yes, I can match a beat or two! In the 90's I promoted and organized rave parties in the midwest. The scene here was not all about 15-year-old kids on crystal meth back then. It was about the music!

  MY CYBER CRUSH DAKOTA RED IS (almost)

  i stayed up late because i wanted to be sure that when dakota red posted his 1000th comment, i would be there to congratulate him.

  but heck, its almost 3:00 o'clock in the morning and although i want to be a good friend, i'm sleepy and so i'm going to bed.

  however, since he is now at 996 posts, i feel that this is close enough.

  Flyers put on car windscreens @ conventions

  has anyone thought of putting leaflets on car windscreens at the district conventions that are coming up?.

  all good jws should be at the convention - if they are using public/football ground car parks, then it will be easy to target their vehicles and put a leaflet on them.

  I used to work security at district conventions. This was one of the main things we were looking for. We would eject anyone trying to flyer the cars and then dump the literature in the trash. The flyers still got read by some, though, including me!

  I can understand being pissed about being "disfellowshipped" from the board. Ouch! I hope he knows it was a case of mistaken identitiy, and understandably so, due to the fact that he was posting from the same IP address as someone who was removed for being abusive.

  As far as him leaving because people were mean to him, I find this hard to swallow. I think wholewheat is a big boy and can handle it, especially because he was dishing it out just as much.

  Wholewheat if you gain access to a computer again and come back, I think I can speak for most of us here in saying you would be welcome.
