she should either get an education before appearing on cnn again, or just stick to being cute.
I agree!!
PS....with the education part....she would be even cuter if she showed a little brain....
she may have boobies; brains are another thing...... been meaning to post this for awhile....simon, i know will appreciate that his goddess has a different opinion....... http://atheism.about.com/b/a/023941.htmseptember 06, 2003. britney spears likes george bush.
many actors and entertainers have been outspoken critics of president george bush, but especially of his policies in the middle east.
quite a few have openly condemned his invasion of iraq and the subsequent occupation.

Britney Spears Likes George Bush
Many actors and entertainers have been outspoken critics of President George Bush, but especially of his policies in the Middle East. Quite a few have openly condemned his invasion of Iraq and the subsequent occupation. That is not, however, true of all entertainers; Britney Spears, for example, has "faith" in him.The Drudge Report recently carried a short exchange between Britney Spears and Tucker Carlson on CNN from Wednesday, September 3, 2003:
CARLSON: A lot of entertainers have come out against the war in Iraq. Have you?
SPEARS: Honestly, I think we should just trust our president in every decision that he makes and we should just support that, you know, and be faithful in what happens.
CARLSON: Do you trust this president?
SPEARS: Yes, I do.
CARLSON: Excellent. Now, I don't wish to either condemn George Bush or Britney Spears' support of Bush - that isn't what I consider most relevant and interesting here. What is interesting is Britney Spears reason for supporting Bush. I don't believe it unreasonable to support him because of agreement with his policies or agreement with the idea of fostering democracy in the Middle East - such reasons might ultimately prove mistaken, but at least one can construct a rational argument around them.
But that's not the case with Britney Spears. No, she argues that we must have faith in our president. Whatever decision he makes, we "should just support that." Is that reasonable? No, it's not. One can argue that we should have a certain amount of trust in elected officials and not succumb constantly to cynicism, but simply having faith in whatever they do is another matter entirely.
We should be skeptical of political leaders - we shouldn't have faith in every salesman who comes along, we shouldn't have faith in every politician who comes along, and we shouldn't have faith in every religious figure who comes along. We should think for ourselves and it is irresponsible of Britney Spears to tell young people that it is better to be faithful than to be skeptical.
to be honest, i feel like i barely qualify as an ex-dub.
wasn't raised in it, no relatives in it, and aside from my first one or two years of being involved with it, i didn't believe much of it.
but at the point where i first started having doubts creep in, instead of investigating those doubts, i turned off my brain.
Dan, by the opening tone of this post, I thought you were going to say you spray painted a Hummer in N.A. ....
Don't be a stranger.....your posts are always great to read.
Tina
OUCH!!
i'm just made 10,000 posts ... but what's in a number?.
one of my favourite lyrics is from a bob dylan song:.
oh i wish, i wish, i wish in vain.
WOW!!
Congratulations!!!
Ps....you do have an *other life* don't you?.....
guess this kind of goes with the other thread i started about looking at the inner child that is still hurtingk by posting a pic of us when we where kids.. i found this pic of my parents, my mom was just 15,,,,,my dad barely 18, shortly after , they married soon and i was born when my my was just 16. .
just looking at their faces in this moment in time, in this picture, i can see , that they were just kids too, that they were not ready to face the hardships of starting a family so soon.
i am not making excuses for the things they both did,,,,,,,,,,, they both did many things to hurt me.
I like gumby's statement.
So many people make others feel guilty for not forgiving....like we are somehow subhuman for not being a Dr. Phil and giving in to our better side.
I don't want to forgive. I have no reason to forgive. My father was a loser. He abandoned his first two daughters (me and my sister) then pretty much did the same with his two sons who came 18 years later. He had too many years in between to learn how to be a good father. He just did not want to be.
My mother called us *milstones around her neck*. We were always in the way of her scheming and conniving.
Now, she is worried about being old and alone and wants to *rebuild* a relationship with me. She admitted to me she does not want to die old and alone. A little to late to be telling me that she loves me. She suddenly realized that armageddon is not going to be around to save her and I might have to wipe her butt when she starts to fail. (my sister has a brain tumor and is not expected to outlive our mother....)
Between lies, JW ongoing crap, family ongoing crap, childhood crap, why would I / should I have / build a relationship with someone I don't like?
Someone tell me why?
"good mornning.
we're bible students(tm) interested in world affairs and we see the mess california is in now.
we also see the mess that president bush is in with iraq.
I'll print that out for the next time a dub visits....
