Help me out here, I'm having an argument

what i'm debating is this.... and creationist probably wont be able to help.

reproduction is the driving forve of evolution, so why does evolution not simply favour the genes of those that reproduce the most...i.e.

not the most fit, intelligent, etc.. and if this is the case, why does the world not fill up with rampant nyphomaniacs?

hello everyone.i just joined this group today and just wanted to introduce myself.my name is ---------------and i live in-------------i am a member of -------------congregation.i was born into the truth and married a brother from -------------.we have been married 8 years come may and have two beautiful boys ages 6 and 3.our 6 year old has asbergers syndrome-a high functioning form of autism.meetings are really hard for him and us.i suffer from schizotypal personality disorder -similar to schizophrenia.most of the time i cannot go to meetings because i cannot handle being around all those people.i came here hoping to have some fellowship and encouragement in these times of the last days are closely upon us.

Welcome ---------. You must lead a very interesting life. Confusing too. I only have ADD. (attention deficit disorder.) I must take notes or I won't pay attention. I like to study, Please add me to your msn messenger. We have a nice little congregation here, so don't be afraid. The best part is you won't have to leave your house. We'll become close friends.

In this world unfortunately, a lot of us suffer from disorders, I suffer from clinical depression and I' m having a hard time now, wanting to make my meetings, and a hard time praying, sometimes people don't understand that, and sometimes I feel like giving up...I feel like that lately. I hope we can both rely on Jehovah, that's the only way any of us are going to make it...please, pray for me...I will pray for you.

Insincere 'love'...?

some dubs we have as friends...still(!

)....told us that at the circuit assembly at the weekend that a couple (we have been on holiday with them on quite a few occasions) asked how we were.

they told our friends to give their 'love' to us.

Hi ISP,

Some people have an advantage, if they have developed the capacity to love and to receive love prior to becoming a JW. I personally have noticed that the ones who have the advantage, know how to love and show it, not because they were supposedly taught it by the WTS, but because they had received it earlier. The others that have been disadvantaged cannot possibly receive something that does not exist. They do not know how to love and receive, and what they are taught as love, is really hatred.
They are taught what to say and how to act outwardly and do not have a clue what it means. Feel sorry for them, because they know not what they say or do.

the condition has been diagnosed in 40 people in britain and around the world, and leaves people with an unruly and uncontrollable hand that refuses to behave.

you will love this from wol- the (* km has told all jw not to put up any sites since you don't know who you are dealing with the slave has spoken but the rank and file jw doesn't want to be obedient to the slave.

so they struggle as to how to be disobedient to the slave.

their comments reveal the sick mindset of the jw in action as they try to decide how to setup a forum.

Hello JT,
I was laughing when I read your post, because I tried to get in there a while back but stopped when the "third degree" was getting a little too hot. I could have told all kinds of lies and fooled them, but it was not worth the time or effort. I went into a chat like that once and was bored out of my mind. Everyone was so on guard. You just about had to talk baby talk in order not to get kicked out.
Don't let the average JW fool you. They talk more trash than we do on this board. The majority of the congregation that I am in will kick your A.. if you mess with them. I feel sorry for the people in the ministry that say the wrong thing to them. Don't get me wrong, I'm not like that, because it is not my nature to be mean to people, but if it was, you better not open your door if you saw me coming.
I know that it sound strange that a congregation of JWs would be like that openly, but it is true. When the Circuit Oveerseer comes he think that he is on vacation because he doesn't have to deal with any problems. He think that we are joking when we tell him the things that we do and say to people and to each other. Ha Ha!
I don't personally feel the pressure that many of you have been subjected to in the congregation that I am in. It is a very rare thing for a person to be disfellowshipped, and I cannot remember anyone ever disassociating himself. I have been in the congregation for over twenty years.
So when I run across the crazies that blame their atttitude on Jehovah I just let them see how JWs are really suppose to act, without being mean :)

i attended a 2 day circuit assembly a couple of weeks ago and one of the speakers gave this scenario.. "i talked to a brother that was standing on the top of the wts building when the planes flew into the wtc.

he said he knew that the centers would go down at armageddon, but to see it actualy happen, and to see all those poor people jumping from those burning buildings, was gut wrenching.".

My heart sunk to say the least. I felt like crying. How could anyone be so cold. I knew personally one of the people that died in the WTC. I said in my heart, "please Jehovah, forgive them of their ignorance."
I love to play and have fun. I am realy a kid at heart. I love people and want everyone to be happy. This kind of thinking makes me sad and distressed. It is not normal. Jehovah the Creator is not like this. Many people have turned away from Him because of crazies like this.

Strengthen the ones that have weaknesses and make the stronger ones better.

1. Rev B is at the top of the list for causing anger and contention among the brethren.
2. Naeblis for letting Rev B make his tongue sin.
3. Jemimah needs protection from the WTS boot.
4. Metatron need to live to see you pay the WT back.
5. Amazing need to see the WTS go down. If not that will be amazing.
6. Kent need to be blessed to continue to write what is true and to keep his feet solidly fixed on the ground in order not to kick someone’s A…
7. Mindchilds mouth need to be washed out in order to be washed whiter that snow.
8. Simon need help to lead your people oh Lord, even though sometimes he knoweth not where he goeth.
9. Ashitaka need help so that when the JW elders is at his door they can be beamed up. (Beam them up Scottie)
10. ISP—if its your will oh Lord, let him be “one” of my husbands in the afterlife.
11. Celtic—write a special book for him oh Lord, and “please” interpret it first:
12. Logical—please help this one to “defend” oneself when someone speaks.
13. Farkel—Please give him a new face in paradise.
14. JT—Please let him look like Jesus in the New World, so that I can wash his feet.

a love so hypocritical ........

i am curious to find out how many of you have experienced this: when there is a sickness in the family, there are very few witnesses who really deeply care from the heart, unless of course the person who is ill is very strong in the truth, has many hours in fieldservice, attends the meetings without interrruption or is a aux.- or regular pioneer.

yet, witnesses who are not as strong in the truth will be visited less or more likely not at all.

for instance, i hear of so many instances where a sick person had to go to the hospital and everybody in the congregation would know that, yet the only ones showing real care were their immediate family members who manifested enough natural compassion and love to visit these ones.

I am so sorry to see people become disallusioned. People come in to the congregation drawn by love. They leave their "worldly family" behind and replace them with strangers. As long as they stand on their own two feet they are fine. But if they ever fall in a needy situation they find that they are all alone. And who comes to their rescue? The very family that they threw away. I have seen it happen over and over. It is a shame that many of us learned who really cares about us the hard way.
