i have been reading on here for about a year and a half, joined some time ago, and have posted on rare occasions.

since i have become a little more comfortable in this forum lately, i thought i would give you some insight into who i am and why i am here.

i am a christian in the sense that i follow christ and no man-made organization.

GB and partaking

i was told that before 2007 there were a couple of gb's that did not partake and that after the 2007 change now they all partake, is this true??

I do not remember that all Gb partook it seems that they had special privileges because they were choosen to be apart of the GB. I find it strange that all are considered anointed. Were they all 144,000 class in the 60s and 70s?

I did not grow up believing they were ALL part of the anointed class and find it strange. Why would they be?

If you were to share TTATT what would you say?

i'm thinking of sharing some ttatt with my kids especially the older two 12 and 14, but not sure what to say or what parts of ttatt to share.

i think all of it would be to much so would like some ideas that may help get into their heads, please..

Ask them if the struggle with understanding JW doctrines. Let them know it is ok to have doubts because you have doubts.

Here is one if all the angels rejoiced over Jesus birth, how much do you think they wil rejoice over your birthdays? I doubt that birthdays are wrong. Fome now on I will rejoice at your birthdays.

Friend gets "scriptural divorce" over wifes transgressions before they got married...

so i have a friend in a congregation in new jersey who recently called me to tell me that he got a divorce.

nothing surprising there at first but it is the fact of when it happened.

his wife began pioneering april 1, and after about three weeks she came to him and told him that about 4 years she had engaged in loose conduct (fondling the penis and the guy kissing her breasts) during a time that she was inactive.

Are you sure he told you all the facts? Considering it was a phone call and it sounds like he does not keep in touch. Considering he did not waste time explaining the fact that he forced(harassed) his wife to know more details. Sounds like his wife was set up by him and his elder friends.

I would say he did not tell you everything.

Is he still your friend? He just got problems.

Mybe you can call his xwife up and support her confusion.

Also elders just ruin peoples lives.

Blood Ban Witch Hunt in Progress

i have had my own power of attorney drawn up and sent to my non jw family to void out my old card.

but now the society is pretty much forcing the issue on everyone with the emergency contact information (witchhunt) gathering drive every year and basically not taking a no for an answer fill it ot or get pulled in back.

well i am giving them the big fu this time i filling their card out but listng my non jw family on it as the contact and then filling yet another power of attornty to void out their stupid card again..
