hello again, for those who don't know me i'm a 15 year old boy.
and recently my mom is displaying symptoms of demensia, she left the stove on today and she yells at us for watching commercials on t.v that are "demonic" because today there was a commercial on television for the new 300 movie and she started yelling at my sister to turn it off, and then i was listening to coldplay as a playlist while doing my school work and she started yelling at me to turn the demonic music off.
she says "demonic" this "demonic" that.
Emancipation if you could find work.
Obvious your mother is mentally unstable so you might want to stay in your room. Go out for short times.
If she is not that strict be gone until bed time. Find nice friends.
You are vulnerable for alcohol and drugs so be very careful.
Does your mother or father drink?

hey i joined this thread recently and thought this was a good way to introduce myself.
i am 15, still going to school and i live in the uk.
a good chunk of my mum's side of the family are jws.

It is better to leave your mom with her delusional life. People have rights to choose where and how they want to worship.
hey guys i am new to the whole forum thing (long time reader, first time postererer) and i wanted to get some other opinions on something that has bothered me ever since i first became a jehovah's witness.. i was always taught at the kingdom hall that friends inside the orginisation were the only ones i could count on and that the ones out of it (mainly at school) were just being controlled by satan to trick me into leaving the religion.. however, i always found it to be the opposite.
my "worldly"friends were all accepting of my religion (back when i was ok with being a jw) and are the only ones i have really opened up to about wanting to leave.
the only things i have in common with the other teenagers in my hall (3 boys, 3 girls) are that we've all been raised in the truth and... well that's it.. i was just wondering if anyone else found the same thing when they were a teenaged jw or if anyone still in my age finds the same thing..

Here something that shocked me how cluless I was as a JW. Here what I learned about how worldly oeople,chuches, teach their children. I never heard this at the KH growing up.
What would you do for your friend? So if a JW kid cussed the other kids would shun him as bad association. But the bible says we are to give our lives for our friends. So when they have probkems it would be hard to give your life for your friend by not talking with them. You help them.
A friend is someone you protect and give your life for his/hers.
Now that was never taught when I was growing up.
Also, another thing I have problems with. Patents are to teach their children how to survive in the world. How to make short and long term goals. College,move out,get a job. How to succeed.
JW parents just focus on WT and meetings. If a child becomes horny they should marry without experiencing living alone in their own apartment first! And they wonder why so many couples have problems!
Hopefully, you will have a better chance!
Friends should be able to disagree with each other. Say that is not cool yet still be a friend. But not the JW boy they just let the youth fall because a lack of planning. Setting goals and sticking to them. Not going out in service or giving talks tbose are not goals.

It is because men have too much balls and that is a good reason why they should not be leaders or elders in churches. Men have done too much crimes against humanity.

Good topic! I been dinged in other forms because I stand to go against ex elders who think that they should abide by Pauls teachings.
What would Paul do in our modern times? Many nondenominational churches believe men are the head of the congregations as pastors.
Although most men are qulified but so are women! Non denominational is not progressive enough.
Lately I started thinking that Paul would place women on equal terms in modern Christianity.
It really is tough to find progresseive churches,women to be elders and pastors,that are still teaching high morals standards.
Sure would like to find one! I would go but the bottom line they need good sermons!
I need to add that Pauls writing are fine until I read some of his out dated congregations leadership.
here's my story.

i'm a 3rd gen born-in jw and all close relatives in the borg (parents, grandparents, uncles, wife, inlaws) except my little sister (she's 16 and didnt buy jw doctrine).
I have been trying to write you for hours! Sorry I have no wisdom on the subject so only you know what to do. The dark path not willing to work on what? marriage.
Ok but I do know what being under shock looks like,and being depressed because the scales on my eyes have fallen off! My fantasy paradise crushed. Being so angry that I point out doctrine errors to people who do not recognize their own doctrines! I hope you regonize that when your no longer blinded by doctrines you go through all kinds of shock,anxiety,denial,anger,and arguing to wake people up. After all who will you share your findings with family. However, their are some people who just do not care about knowing the errors they just walk away and live life! I was not one of them and after watching them live life and seeing how they do it. My life became better. Now,I do not need to argue and just live life. Frankly it is kind of shocking but the majority of exjw do not care and just live life.
Your making your problem hers so when you understand that you do not need to argue doctrines any more. It frees you up to be the man who is looking out for his wives happiness. If it makes her happy to be a JW as long as you can find common grounds that is all you want for her is to be is happy. Common grounds,she respects your no longer a JW and wants you to be happy no matter what.
